This game has been in development for a short while now as it's our 3rd year university project, Minerva Union is a first-person shooter arcade-style video game that builds on cooperatively focused
game-play. At the moment [b]there are 3 people working on this[/b] including myself and we want to get this game to a point where we can graduate and continue it's development. As this game gathers interest (hopefully) we intend on expanding our team.

What do you have planned currently for the game?
At the moment were deciding on the back armour section for the Engineer, which do you prefer, A, B or C?

Upgradable weapons, upgradable armour (with a point system to do so), multiplayer, we also want to incorporate some form of boss wave eventually and we're currently going over a few ideas we have with gravity. We're working to deadlines and we have to realistically change our goals to fit that as we go.
Well they all look good, why not make character customization so you can choose one of them, or make it random for every engineer?

Are we talking something environmental or are we talking about using a "Gravity" Weapon ?

Imo they seem a bit generic.
Looks neat so far. Loving the art style you are going for.
Perhaps you could have a 'Dungeon Keeper'/'Zombie Master' mode that revolves around one player controlling the hordes/traps/doors/whatnot that has to prevent the players from reaching a goal?
Also the B back armour looks best IMO.

We discussed both, we have plans for both.
i love the art direction. especially for that gun.
looks good. i hope you have actual coding underway and not just art assets too. some developers just make a bunch of content in zbrush and make it look like they have started working on their game when in fact they don't even have an engine to build the game on
don't get caught up in the details! get the game coded first then pretty it up later

i've always thought it would be really cool to have a class who can invert gravity for themselves in a shooter like this. you'd be away from melee enemies but you'd be more vulnerable to ranged since there's no cover on a ceiling and you move slower or something maybe because your boots are metal and shit
wouldn't work outside though probably
As long as this has some mode somewhere that's straight-up survival without protecting anything or anything, I'll be so down for this.

Maybe have certain areas where the only cover is on the ceiling, too?
I kinda like the minimalistic design for C.

What style of movement is this going to have? Is it going to be a fast paced/agile gameplay style or will you be needing to use cover or the map itself to fight well?

Will she get appropriate protection to cover her breasts?
Personally, I'm a fan of B. It doesn't look too much like a crazy spinal implant like A and it looks meatier than C. Plus, I'm a sucker for those circular disk thingies on the back.
Also, biggest pet peeve about horde games is that sometimes it doesn't feel satisfying killing the millions of enemies. I like it when games give impact to whatever you're shoot. Games like Left 4 Dead 1 didn't feel that great because most of the time, the bullets felt like they were simply flying through the zombies and they'd just fall down. Mass Effect 3 felt much better because shit would go flying when you blasted it and it felt like you had a lot of force behind your shots.
But I digress; this looks really promising and I'll keep my eyes on it for sure!
Just wondering, how is the weapon system going to work?
Is it going to be like CoD/Counter Strike with tonnes of different guns with the only difference between them is the firing speed, reloading speed, accuracy and whatnot. Or is it going to be like Unreal Tournament/Sanctum 2 with all the guns being drastically different in playstyle and unique?
Or are you going for only having a few weapons which you gradually customize to your own playstyle?

So far we plan on having a few drastically different weapons which can be later upgraded with points you earn.
the environments look nice
I take it due to their design it's a bit of a faster paced horde type game?
