[B]NOTE[/B]: My friend, for whatever reason, has the NoCheat plugin, and due to him not having the best server connection, you may get disconnected constantly, as NoCheat thinks you're moving to fast. It is merely because his server can't catch up to the client.

Jasper's server (above post) is pretty swell. I recommend it to anyone who just wants a basic, fun Minecraft server.

Olas's server kicks ass. It's easily the least laggy server I've ever played on. Olas himself is a nice fellow too.He even teleported a friend back to me when said friend lost literally hours of walking after going full retard and jumping off a fucking tree (missing water entirely). The rules are nice and minimal, the map isn't a cluster fuck of villages, the community is nice and small, and most people aren't dicks. Seriously, check the server out.

Need help figuring out how much shit my connection can handle, It's probably not much, but worth knowing, I currently have a Bukkit Survival Server going with various mods, but you can have creative mode if you wish and I'm in Scotland so expect lag if you are in the USA or some other place 1000's of miles away. There is nothing on it at the moment, except my shitty attempt to build a compact house with redstone devices, but loads of flat land to build on, max players is 20, but I doubt I will even comfortably be able to handle 3 players.... My Anarchy Adventure server is back online. The hostname DNS hasn't propogated yet, but you can connect via IP address ([b]198.12.125.233[/b]) until the changes take effect later today/tomorrow.

Question: Why do people use lockette? Why not that plugin (Forget the name) where you just need to type in a command and touch your chest/furnace to lock it? I freaking HATE HATE HATE seeing ugly ass signs everywhere that say [[][]fwf]da[fs][dfasfd]a Okay, that was an exaggeration but seriously. Why waste a sign over that? I'd rather play on a server with no chest protection than lockette. It's kind of a deal-buster for me. I see so many good servers but they have those stupid lockette signs all over.

What survival server would you guys suggest for someone who is new to multiplayer minecraft? I want to be able to build freely with supplies I've gathered.

I don't see how [code] [Private] Olas [/code] would be so horrible that it ruins the entire game.
