Is it ever possible for the dota community to become mature ? - Games

I know it's near impossible, but i started by being mature first before asking other people to be. I started playing support for the last 2 weeks, buying wards, playing selflessly, Etc. However, i still get blamed for any tiny mistake since i am the only support in the whole game always. Whenever a wards expires "gg noob support no wards ff please". I'm not here to make a no Russians please thread, i really hope every one could start being mature since i really had enough pointless arguments every match i play.

It gets much better once you climb the ladder. There will always be shitlords in every game community but skill levels tend to weed them out

For me the only way to survive in Dota 2 was to become a witty, sassy, snarky gentleman every time someone starts an argument inside my team or towards me in particular Unfortunately it's not Dota 2 getting better after a while but you becoming more and more cynical as your career inside the game grows

I'm only 28, I want to stay immature until I turn 30 and get bored of Dotes.:rock:

Being an asshole against assholes or starting a fight with you teammates is counter-productive and only costs you precious time which you could have used to play the game

I am considered an oddity in pubs: our enemies get us and I praise them because they did; we lose the game but we had a good fight and I point this out; I insist on playing till the end no matter the current situation; if someone takes my kill I claim that whatever benefits the team at large benefits me; ... Suffice to say, my Dota 2 life isn't exactly easy

They also constantly shit talk me if I have no items when I am the only support on the team and the only one buying wards or sentries or smoke or dust or anything.

But yes you're quite right about the above thingy. You can become the flaming faggot yourself at any point and start wearing out the actual flamer to the point where the team chats becomes quiet.

Save yourself some trouble and just mute everyone at the start of the game.

It makes me laugh and cry at the same time when the enemy complains about whoever I'm laning against, especially if we're owning lane. Kunkka blaming Morph for having no farm when Morph is solo against Undying Slark, it's like; what the fuck's he supposed to do?

Every time I play crystal maiden: NOOB BUY WARDS SENTRY WARDs UPGRADE DE CURIER Seriously one game I refused to buy sentry wards (the enemy team had a shadow blade lc that dueled every guy she found) and 2 faggots kept yelling about them, so eventually I buy them and then he says, duurr hurr 30 minutes later support buy sentry wards report this noob. I'm never playing support against invis heroes again.

Talk about upgrading the courier, when I'm support I will always try to have 220g by 3:00 and I will always (try to) be watching if our Mid needs the cour at that moment. I don't see how anyone playing support wouldn't pay mind to these things. As for wards, they're mostly meant for that "5th posi" Hero to get who doesn't have gold for much else. And who doesn't even [i]need[/i] gold for much anything else. Add in some towers and Hero kills and that's where your gold mainly comes from, + about 1 CS per minute. Also yes, it is a bore and also an impossible task to constantly get sentries and wards and shit against a bunch of Invis/SB heroes especially if they are snowballing hard and have all towers as opposed to yours. So don't lose any sleep over it.

Few things infuriate me more than people who are ENTIRELY oblivious to the situation and keeping yelling at/blaming someone. "Noob AM, no farm after 30 minutes" - meanwhile the enemy team has ganked AM with silences sheepsticks etc etc 10+ times already. Clearly all AM's fault, and totally not his team's fault for not warding. Clearly that CM is a feeding noob even though she had to get courier wards flying courier sentries and more wards without even being allowed to stack/pull.

I once saw a newbie attempt supporting. Complained that his hero wasn't strong, and he bought loads of wards. Like, he had a stack of 16 wards and never used them.
