[B]What is it?[/B]
Dirt 3 (stylised as DiRT 3) is an upcoming rallying videogame in the Colin McRae Rally series, developed and published by Codemasters. It contains a new racing mode, gymkhana, which is featured in the teaser trailer. "Colin McRae" has been removed from the title of the game. The game will feature split screen and a cockpit camera view. It is scheduled to be released globally on 24 May 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The game will feature Ken Block's modified DC Shoes Ford Fiesta. It will also feature official World Rally Championship Cars and Classic Group B Rally Cars such as the Audi Quattro.
As players race to elevate their global standing, DiRT 3 delivers mud, sweat and gears world over: from the intense weather-beaten rally stages of Europe, Africa and the US, to executing performance driving showcases and career challenges where car control is pushed to spectacular limits. DiRT 3 is now in development at Codemasters Studios for a 2011 release for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and PC Games For Windows® LIVE.
[B]DiRT 3 rally classes[/B]: There are 9 Pure Rally classes with 6 non rally classes. The classes are:
[B]Rally[/B]: WRC, Open rally(Rally america), Super rally 2000, Group B(4WD), Raid, 60s rally, 70s rally, 80s rear wheel drive and 90s.
[B]Non Rally[/B]: Rallycross, Modern Trailblazer, Classic Trailblazer, Landrush trucks, Landrush Buggies and Gymkhana.

I like the graphics so far, hopefully they weren't enhanced to just look good in pictures.
I loved Dirt 2, Looking forward to this one!
I just wish it was like the old ps2 rally games, not with all that stupid monster energy drink shit and techno music.

I hope this one won't be a skating game like the last one was, i'm looking for actual rally, not a bunch of manchildren driving their cars on flashy tracks while talking like surfers.
Well so far that seems to be fixed, I also hope for them to get rid of GFWL and make their own lobby like Grid had.

Might be the first dirt game i will try. I loved WRC games, even tought they were only races against the time
I got Dirt 2 free with a graphics card. It was okay, I didn't play it for more than a few hours.

I have the box right here and it has Colin McRae on it.
The gameplay in Finland says "PRE-ALPHA CODE", it's not even in alpha, yet it looks like that already?

Also Group B will be the reason I buy this game. The thing I loved doing in Dirt 2 was setting the gear ratio for each car to max acceleration, cars were fucking rockets.
I hope it isn't a consolised arse-piece like DiRT 2. Every single movement in the menu was practically a cinematic and there wasn't much freeplay.
I predict Ken Block: Dirt 4 next year...

Despite Ken Block being the 'star' of Dirt 2, he was a pretty terrible driver. More often than not I'd lap him or hear him whining about being at the back of the group. Not forgetting this...
