I think there's already a MP game like this, but yeah, I'd play it. Add more gamemodes like 2v2, 1v1v1v1, stuff like that and it could be even better.

3D. But since you will be in your castle I think you'll always see the same side of the enemy's castle.

Just don't make it so the bricks are 'piled' on eachother, give them a breaking point as if they were stuck there with brick mortar.

I'm using unity. It's pretty good, I spend most of the time playing with the engine. It's very intuitive and complete. At least as far as I went.

I would play it. Maybe you could add some "money" system to castle creation.

EX: You have $100. Each wood brick is .50¢, but each stronger steel brick is $1. Standard catapult is $10, but double catapult is $25.
