SweetFX is a universal image improvement and tweaking mod, that works with almost any 32-bit DirectX 9, 10 or 11 game or application. SweetFX with Dishonored.
What is it? So in case you're new to SweetFX Shader Suite (or just SweetFX), it's a mod built on the InjectSMAA shader injector, that allows you to apply a suite of post processing shader effects to your games. You may have tried another shader injection mod before, like InjectFXAA, InjectSMAA or FXAAtool. SweetFX improves upon all of these. You can add SMAA anti-aliasing , sharpening and tweak the color, gamma , exposure and more. It's meant to allow you to improve the look of your games and change the look and mood of it to your liking. If you use SMAA antialiasing instead of MSAA or an even more expensive antialaliasing technique you can also make the game run faster (than with MSAA)
[t]http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?ct=files&action=file&id=125[/t][t]http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?ct=files&action=file&id=124[/t] Modded Skyrim, without and with SweetFX. As mentioned above, this gives you great power to customize the look of your games. Is a game too bright or too dark for your liking? Use this. Does a game like Fallout 3 or Deus Ex: Human Revolution have a hideous tint? Leverage this to remove it. Want a game to be sepiatone or grayscale for old-timey atmosphere? Go for it. Want to create your own unique visual theme for a game? This will give you all you need and more. Are you not an artistic type? Then this utility can still be of use to you. By default, it enables SMAA, sharpening, and vibrance filters. This can be used to subtly enhance the default look of a game for virtually no performance cost. Note the subtle saturation increase, and the SMAA and sharpening filters, especially on the edges of the letters. Here you can see that this SMAA injector can be used to supplement or outright replace more expensive AA methods for virtually no cost in performance. A small sample of various SweetFX adjustments possible on a Team Fortress 2 screenshot.
