After they replaced timebreaker, they made the dragonclaw immortal too, for no reason.
It was really dumb. I don't have a screen like you chaps, but it was a $1 Kunkka sword for a 20 cent item or two. Not a good trade but I didn't know better.

The DC Hook became Immortal after an error in the item schema when Valve made all the equippable cosmetics from Common to Legendary droppable (long long after the Timebreaker case), at the time the DC Hook was Mythical and thus started dropping even tho he was supposed to stay crate exclusive (but not Immortal !)
Valve fixed this issue and made the DC Hook stop dropping, like supposed, and then only made it immortal to confirm that it won't be available again

No, it was because DC hook was pudge's first cosmetic and traders had stockpiled it. So, when it started dropping, traders cried their eyes out and valve made it immortal. That qualifies as making it immortal for no reason in my book.
All other items in that chest started dropping too and Ice Armor was tiny's only cosmetic as well. They didn't do anything to the other items. Only DC hook because traders are cry babies.

Trading must always begin with a bad one, I can get all of those items with like 5-6 rares which is half of that tf2 key.
My first trade is probably my only trade.

Pft, I gave some random Russian guy 10 random common/uncommon items for a single Ogre Magi item (uncommon too iirc) which he got from the same game we were in.
Literally 0 fucks given. And I got a better-looking item for Ogre soon after, so.. lel.
All my trades were 1 common for 1 common, 1 common for 2 common, 2 common for 1 uncommon or similar.
Also sold some crates for 1 reclaimed each.
Overall trading life was good.

Also managed to get an entire Commanders Flameguard set for 2 rares, 2 uncommons, 2 refined, 1 reclaimed, 2 scrap, which was a pretty good deal considering I sold it for a Wyvernguard Edge.
