I've released my Steam style Windows theme for Windows 7 yesterday

Is it possible to only change a few things like for example the task bar and leave the rest default?

I'll actually start working tonight on a version that only changes the taskbar and the start menu; I'll have to change Aero theme like so though, it will take some time, but I think I'll be able to make it fast.

Looks great! Though I don't think it would fit with the pixelvision skin for steam.

I found the problem with the black parallel lines disappearing and everything looking fucked up with the toolbar. For some reason, the theme makes it so "large icons" makes the taskbar taller, clearing the theme. I'm not sure if it's usually like that on windows.

I'm currently working on a project that's due time limit to finish, will be returning to this after that; it might take several days to few weeks to finish though, so will see if I find the time in between anyways.

Can't get the theme to work Already used Universal Theme patcher and everything, but when I try to click on a theme, nothing changes and theme settings freezes

It should work with just installing the Universal Theme Patcher, I would suggest one of the alternative methods he lists on the link.
