Hi! I am the developer of the game SkiFlow. Years ago I played a simple game called Ski Stunt Simulator all the time because I really loved the hard challenging gameplay. When you started to understand the controls, the game felt so rewarding and satisfying. But what always got me mad was that the great concept of Ski Stunt did not evolve in to something greater. So now years later when I am game developer I thought I would try to justify this game and try my best to make a new evolved game from the concept. You will be the judge if I did succeed with this. The game is for iPad and iPhone but I would say the experience is best on iPad. I know that Facepunch is more focused on pc gaming and console gaming. But the thing is that I am also posting here to see if there would be any interest for PC/Mac version with multiplayer and maybe a level editor later on. Hope you enjoy my game and here is a short summary about the game: SkiFlow is a 100% physics based skiing game with influences from games like Ski Stunt Simulator Features: 100% physics based meaning that every ride and jump will never be the same. Compete with SkiFlow players all around the world about who can get the best SkiFlow level. Lots of mountains to ski on and high replay ability because of the same mountain will be a different experience to ski on when your SkiFlow experience has gotten better. looks okay i wish there was an android version though [editline]5th May 2014[/editline]
Years ago I played a simple game called Ski Stunt Simulator all the time because I really loved the hard challenging gameplay.
you can still get it here, maybe link to it or something, i dunno
Yeah exactly that is the game. But even if the concept is very similar I don't want to compare it to much too Ski Stunt Simulator because they are very different in many ways and I see Ski Stunt way more as a old prototype than a game. If we for example look at the physics model SkiFlow is very different from Ski Stunt Simulator and many similar games. Instead of dividing the body in 3-4 physics controlled parts we have 9 different parts in SkiFlow with all different muscle strength too and that makes for very fluid and dynamic gameplay. This on the other hand makes for little learning curve but trust me it is very rewarding when you start to understand the controls and the flow.
I see potential, wish there was an android version though.
Bought it.
I see potential, wish there was an android version though.
I have heard that from allot of different places now and I have actually start thinking about it. Just not sure what I would like to create first, a PC/Mac version or Android version. Because trust me SkiFlow is pretty great to play with friends on a big screen with Xbox 360 controllers. But first I just want to make sure that there is no bugs left before I move on to the next version. Also want to maybe extend the game with one more chapter of levels too. Mango hope you enjoy SkiFlow! :) Just one thing to remember the game can feel very hard in the beginning because of the physics based nature of the game. But trust me just keep at it for a little while and you will be rewarded ;)
I'm all for an updated version of Ski Stunt Simulator, but I don't own an Apple device. That game was a lot of fun, but it was also a buggy mess. My favorite levels were the ones with physics objects though, like the one with the cliff ledges that break off, and the one with the bridge that can break. Is there anything like that in this game? Or at least a "crash and burn" type of level, where it's really difficult to not screw up, and hilarious ragdoll effects are sure to ensue?
Personally i'm gonna wait until a PC version is released, not a huge fan of playing games on a phone. I know i'm in the minority on that, though.

Because on the last chapter every cliff is dangerous, big jumps everywhere, allot of precision jumps through small holes in caves and etc. But there is no destructible objects like a bridges that break right now. But that's actually my plan for the next chapter which I will probably start making soon when I am totally sure there is no bugs left.
