Okay, so this is going to be a little hard to explain.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a Minecraft server that was based around a time period between the Middle Ages and the American Revolution.
It doesn't have to be based around a particular event, I just want some of these features:
-Local Chat, you can only talk to people around you
-Cities/States/Nations that are user-built.
-Occupations.
-No private messaging or anything like that
-Messengers that deliver mail from town to town
I essentially want to feel like I am living in an old time period where you can only talk to whomever is in your vicinity, and I would also like for users to be able to establish their own settlements/towns if they wish.
Just want that old timey feel.
If anyone knows of a server like this, I would love you forever if you would tell me about it.
So... colonial era? Basically after firearms but before plate armour went out of style?
You'd be hard-pressed to find a sever with that specific time period in mind, but best of luck to you :P

I mean, I just want to feel like i'm in a time period before modern technology basically.
I was making a server similar to that. No firearms, but the feeling of communication between settlements actually taking time. I used the Postman plugin and it was quite fun with a couple friends, but I can only imagine how interesting a populated server would be. If I get back into minecraft at some point, I'll try to make something like that.. just had a lack of funding at the time.
