This is the first game to come out for Microsoft Flight Simulator. And is probably the best example of how it was made to be a great flying simulator of its time.

Any chance you are going to put up the history of X-plane?
I was hoping this would be every single flight simulator. Ever.
I still have Flight Simulator 1 (It took up two whole floppy discs!)
I think I have all the others (and the combat flight simulator series) except FS2002.
Fuck yeah FSX.
Flying a plane is easier than you think, it just gets boring and I esc out of half my IFR flights.
These two screenshots are my favorites that I've taken.
You can tell I like sunrises/sunsets.
And excuse the lack of AA.

Hell yea, IFR flights in a simulator are boring as piss all. VFR all the way.
FSX is tough as shit to run, even on a decent PC.
Fuck FSX, FS9 is where it's at
FSX on any good looking settings=computer rape. You can have a 3 grand gaming rig and still not get more than 30 fps on max.
I still have a copy of every Microsoft Flight sim from #5.1 onwards, including the three combat flight simulators, as well as a copy of X-plane.
I even still have that Museum program that came with MSFS98.
'95 was fun to mess around.
Does anyone even play this
Combat Flight Simulator 3 battle for Britain is missing from the OP.

None of the Combat Flight Simulators or any brand outside Microsoft are mentioned in the OP.
Crimes on Humanity of the highest degree.
There is more than just a trailer for Microsoft Flight. Their website if full of stuff about it:
http://www.microsoft.com/games/flight/
Just waiting for Microsoft Flight now. Shame they haven't made any updates to the website for a while now.
I've always been a fan of the Flight Simulator series and have played just about all of them.
My first Flight Sim was FLight Unlimited 2 by LGS, the guys who made System Shock and then went onto make the Thief Series.
Added video's And added Demo's and a SDK to the forum post. And all the CS games made for the series.
You forgot X-Plane
Yeah the new Microsoft Flight looks awesome, I hope there will be more helicopters this time.

I think this is only MSFS and MSCFS.
I think I have an expansion around here somewhere

Yes well until Microsoft proves they totally didnt kill this thing off by axing that entire arm the second they could they are dead to me.
You forgot X-Plane
X-plane isn't Microsoft made, so therefore i'm not adding it. And it is a shitty excuse for a game, you have to download over GB's of scenery just to play the god damn game, so therefore its a shitty game.

That is a shitty excuse.
First off if your downloading the game your doing it wrong as there is no download for the game. Second the scenery is only if you want to fly in that part of the world. If you just want to fly in the US then you dont need to install those disks. Yes its 60 gigs total and it does not use the most up to date stuff for the scenery but its the only one that is cross platform. If Microshit has honestly dumbed down Flight as it looks like, then the hardcore people will be running around for a alternative. Guess where they are going to fall at.

If you looked hard enough, all the games ARE mac and linux compatible. so, and that you have all the scenery packed into 2 discs too, and you don't have all sorts of stuff for the game that has so requirement for it
Also, fine, give me a list of all the flight simulation games you know of, and if so i will put all of the x-plane games on it, even if it means putting 9-10 games on there all together.

Sorry to bother Mr.Microsoft, we have made a mistake of talking other flight simulators that could ruin your income from the next game...

Dual Booting into windows where OS X or any Linux Distro is your main OS is not native. You are emulating if you are running it in that environment. X-Plane will run NATIVE in OS X or any Linux Distro.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amateur_flight_simulation
Uhh no, i believe Dualbooting is using the original os, if i'm not mistaken, it counts as you using the os as the same thing. and it has all the stuff required to use it.
