Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. If I did, feel free to move/close this. I wanted to emulate both these games on my computer. Do I need two different emulators? Is there a tutorial someone can direct me to? I seriously don't trust the ones on youtube and feel more confident with the users here on FP.
Good point, but I guess it's the vibe I get from FP at times. Still though you're right it is the internet. I wanted to play FF7 and FFX with my friend over the computer. I may just buy and send FF7 for them since it's relatively cheap and I have the money for it. Though FFX isn't on PC.
For PS1 ePSXe is the way to go, and for PS2 use PCSX2, don't forget to install the widescreen patches from here - the instructions are in the file Both emulators support controllers though you might need to set up the buttons manually before you start playing, make sure to mess around the graphics options as well, any modern card will be able to run PS1/2 games at 1080p since emulation is mostly CPU dependent, and PS2 games look GREAT at 1080p with antialiasing.
