The game is based on the 1985 DOS title 'Sopwith', but ended being pretty much indistinguishable from the myriad of other dogfighting games out there. Still, we think we made a pretty good game and we'd like to share it with you! You may have seen Rayboy posting progress in the WAYWO, including survival mode, dogfights, balloons, etc. As of right now, there are three modes - Levels, which is just a linear progression of missions, Scenarios, which are single missions you can set up yourself, and survival mode, with leaderboards for normal and hard difficulties. The game is free and supported by banner ads in the menus. If you have any problems, suggestions, or if you want to start a friendly conversation, feel free to contact us! dope dude looks really well done
Thanks, we worked on it for about 2.5 months altogether. Was great fun getting this released.
Oh, we should probably also mention that we plan on adding a campaign mode, which would involve a turn-based battle over Europe, with the outcome of a dogfight determining who's victorious in that turn.
For anyone interested, Games in Asia did a review of our game. http://id.gamesinasia.com/review-pocket-squadron/ Though I can't read anything without Google Translate. :v:
