So, the Half-Life 2 Beta actually looked better with more Scripted events didn't it, as well as weapons and some sound effects. Not sure where you're pulling out "looks better" and "has more scripted events" from. We've only seen a few scripted events from the beta while the final game has a lot more. Also, the final game looked better too. I don't know how much you actually looked at the weapons, but the finals are more cohesive and higher poly. Not sure where you're getting better sounds from either, they use basically the same sounds in both.

The general feel and atmosphere was much better in the beta, something half life 2 skimped out on imo.

I liked the beta's green color scheme and the 12 monkeys esque future architecture but seriously the actual beta thread is only like 6 spaces away from the top of the front page of this section at all times how the fuck did you miss it
