In a few days it will be exactly half a year ago that we got greenlit. We are very proud to say that as of November 14th Homebrew is available on Steam Early Access.
All of this would never be possible without the help of our community that some of the members on this forum helped us build.
So far our players have helped us with solving bugs, ideas and the necessary coverage and we can't thank them enough for supporting us!
Therefore we decided to devote more time to the community by setting up a dev-blog, forums, chatbox, guides on Steam and so on.
This is our first public project and we can still use a lot of feedback. So please feel free to try out our demo on IndieDB and give us your honest opinion.
Note: The demo is a bit outdated, but a more stable version containing extra parts and the new multiplayer will be up soon on our Website, IndieDB page and Steam.
You can also us on Steam to join our community and help us shape Homebrew by clicking on the image below:

For some extra gameplay footage or tutorials, we advise you to check out some of the player videos on our YouTube Channel.
They are fun to watch and can come in handy when you need both help and inspiration.
We also released our biggest update yet and making the trailer turned out more difficult than expected, but we hope that it gives you an overall idea:

I've owned and played it for quite a bit now, it's a great advanced building game but what annoys me the most is the need to unlock all parts, I really just want to build and play around sometimes rather than having to unlock the parts. Is there any way to instantly unlock all parts, some sandbox mode?
Other than that if you like building vehicles or games like KSP you will really enjoy this and should totally get this.
Glad to hear that you're still enjoying the game. The orbs are temporary and will be replaced with something else in the future. You'll probably find an answer on our forums or community regarding the part question (it's something that we want to keep a secret, so I won't tell it here) :).
They need to fix how wheels are, everytime I've spawned up a vehicle it's just ended up sliding around like the wheels are made of ice.
Looks interesting, will definitely keep an eye on this.

Took me a bit to figure out, but I got it now.
Was a fun little hunt and trying / failing tons of different things, but in the end it was way easier than I thought.
When building a plane
Set the rear ailerons/elevators/thethingsontheplanethatmakeyougoupanddown to a default of 5-10, depending on how fast your plane is going. It'll keep your plane flying more level without you having to constantly hold up.

Yeah, we've found the wheels a bit tricky and they'll be improved with future updates. Normally you can set the sideways_grip property to another value to reduce the sliding. The demo will be updated soon too (if you're playing that).

I'm seeing wheels become more sticky at high speed, but at no speed they slide like ice.
I don't think sideways grip will help all too much, if anything it'll just make it harder to control at high speed since you'll be constantly flipping the car.
So I built a thing

It's a BF109, doesn't go too fast, only about 320km/h, but it flies like a dream.
Just downloaded the demo to have a go at it, looks pretty nice, although for some reason my camera constantly moves up and left, and I cant stop spinning

I think it might have something to do with facetracknoir though, even though it's disabled, I'll try uninstalling it

Is there a way to clear a keybind, like, remove "Axis 1" from my look controls?
[editline]22nd November 2014[/editline]
Oh right, ok, if anyones having that problem, go into settings and click the question mark to the right of the look controls, then change it use stick to use two buttons on the 2nd input
Oh hey again igniuss, I'm glad to see the game is still progressing well!
Am I still mentioned on the parts list, or is that long gone now? :v:
