i thought those resource icons looked familiar but then i realised it's the same dev that made endless space pretty fuckin neat are those canon names for the tf2 characters?

What makes it stand out?[/QUOTE] It's an excellent rogue-like that can be played with up to 4 people that consists of you defending your ship's generator while exploring all of the rooms in each dungeon floor, collecting loot and recruiting new people to your crew (max 4 people). The end goal is to make it past 12 floors, where you'll escape and win. It has a wide variety of characters, but you have to unlock all but 8 of them. (4 of those being the TF2 characters) You can unlock any character by discovering them in the dungeons, recruiting them, and having them in your crew for 3 consecutive floors. At that point you'll have the option to start out with them permanently. I haven't really played any other games like DOTE so I can't make comparisons.

Started on easy because I'm no bitch, and one of my characters died to a gank like a bitch on the first level. :v:

Easy is pretty challenging. I'm legit too scared to play on Easy.

One tip people should be aware of is that monsters cannot spawn in a room if a player controlled hero is in it, even if it is unpowered. Being able to reduce a wave from two or three spawns to one and more importantly have them all coming from the same direction can be a godsend. You can slightly cheat the spawn system by opening a door and then waiting for a few seconds so that the spawns are placed and then pulling out your heroes from the unpowered rooms to wherever you wish. The risk here is that your heroes might be too spread out and that door you opened had a group of really nasty monsters that make short work of your modules. I should also note that if you find a trader or an NPC, that particular door opening will never cause spawns.

You can only select her by randoming, and she's an okay door opener/explorer, but is pretty lackluster at everything else. Can't equip weapons or armor, which sucks pretty hard. You can certainly play the game with her, but she's just not very good.
