Oh great, just what we all wanted. More dead horses to beat. Look at all that unique innovation and reason for me to pick your totally unique zombie survival experience over literally hundreds of other games almost exactly like it. Judging by the video, you guys have some form of talent (Obviously not much though, it looks horrid), why waste it making something that is going to be shoveled out into an already over saturated market of games that have established themselves as the definition of "why early-access is terrible."

More attempts the merrier in my books.
do you guys think this H1Z1 be better than DayZ? Do you consider it a "clone"?
No, one is already a terrible early-access shit-heap and the other is going to be a terrible early-access shit-heap.
do you guys think this H1Z1 be better than DayZ? Do you consider it a "clone"?
h1z1 looks shit what does h1z1 even mean? it's like they just through a bunch of characters together and decided it was a good name.
h1z1 looks shit what does h1z1 even mean? it's like they just through a bunch of characters together and decided it was a good name.
It's probably referencing swine flu (since its designation was H1N1), which is really fucking stupid.
Intelligent Undead lol
This shit looks just like The WarZ
h1z1 looks shit what does h1z1 even mean? it's like they just through a bunch of characters together and decided it was a good name.
Saw something in the comments about H1N1 being swine flu, so the story will probably be "swine flu mutaded to zombie virus, thats whyits H1Z1, not H1N1"
This is being made by the guys who made Planet Side 2.
No, one is already a terrible early-access shit-heap and the other is going to be a terrible early-access shit-heap.
you're making dumb presumptions thinking the development team is incompetent because of other blunders in the genre.
you're making dumb presumptions thinking the development team is incompetent because of other blunders in the genre.
they've already shown gameplay and it looks pretty generic also this game looks bad graphically, has atrocious animations, and this trailer was laughably horrible
This is being made by the guys who made Planet Side 2.
Which means two things, avoid it with a mile long stick because its gonna implode on its self because its a buggy mess or it'll be "its ok".
There's yet to be a good zombie survival game. More attempts the merrier in my books.
Project zomboid is pretty good
I think this game could be interesting although I don't understand why all of these games try to be DayZ clone PVP grinds. Devs: if you're going to do Zombie Survival, there's still a lot of room in the market for a good singleplayer PVE experience.
Which means two things, avoid it with a mile long stick because its gonna implode on its self because its a buggy mess or it'll be "its ok".
I personally have loved Planet Side 2 since I started playing it in alpha so my hopes are set medium-high for this one.
Did someone say The War Z?
is it me or is this game identical to dayz and i don't mean gameplay wise. i mean it literally looks like the same engine. it has all of the weird as hell warped color palette in dark areas and wonky lighting elements either way be happy, iirc it's free to play so it's not like you're going to lose anything by playing it. i know i'm done with zombie games though. you play one, you've played them all. i'll stick to zomboid and contagion

Brain cells, sanity, and time, to name a few.
You'll lose a lot by playing it. Brain cells, sanity, and time, to name a few.
this game is obviously meant for oblivious preteens, not adults. that's why it's free to play. they know who their market is
It's free to play because almost all(if not all) of SoE games are F2P? Planetside 2 is massively successful and it's F2P. This game is gonna have cosmetics you can purchase + tickets to do special game modes. The game looks better than Day Z, and as i've said before Day Z SA was a complete cash grab. Shouldn't have to pay just to play on an upgraded engine with less features. H1Z1 is being made by a big company unlike the other games (Day Z, War Z, Rust, Nether, etc.) Their planetside 2 anti cheat is going to be used for h1z1, and the PS2 anti cheat is probably the best of all the above mentioned games. It's gunplay isn't too realistic, and it isn't a complete arcade shooter. From what I seen and have read, in my opinion (saying a game is good or not is solely up to opinion) this game has potential. Browser Rust was the only version of rust I actually enjoyed. 200+ players per server, no lag, and this is what SoE is doing with their game. Which is why when I talk to my friends that are looking forward to this game, I see it as a Rust 2.0. This game will only be fun if you have a couple friends or more, it's not going to be a running simulator either. The devs actually care because they pushed the game back by 6+ months just to add extra stuff/fix bugs in before giving us EA because they wanted to be proud of the first build players get to play.
Not sure why people are so mad at this game and call it the worst thing ever. It's not even out yet (the models are terrible tho) I think ill stick with DayZ if this game doesn't turn out to be any good though

I like Zombie survival games and cant wait to try this one, hopefully I wont be disappointed too much :)
I believe that H1Z1 uses the Forgelight engine which is also used by Planetside 2.
is that good or bad?
is that good or bad?
Looks pretty sometimes, can handle a lot of players on the screen but if i remember it's not greatly optimised but nor is Dayz
is that good or bad?
I would think it is a good thing since they are working with a familiar engine that they have been modifying for H1Z1. I really like what I have seen so far and have high hopes for this game.
They're going to have a stream on Friday.
