So this is basically a Doom port......
I like the idea and it looks alright visually so far, but there's a lot of work to go before it's decent.
Isn't this just that Doom 2 in Unreal 4 prototype thing
[del]Basically what the above guy said. Visually it's pretty decent, although it kinda looks like when you see TV programs like CSI try to visualize "what the kids are playing these days". My advice would be to focus more on really tuning the models and textures and shit before just jumping into putting it in the game. Of course I can see it's alpha, but then at that point I probably would've waited a little bit until I had something REALLY good to show off.
As it stands, you could potentially have something really neat here, especially considering that you're on the right track by tickling a nostalgia bone. Right now though, it's looking a little too directly aimed at JUST Doom. Maybe if you tried to combine elements from multiple old-school shooters? that'd be neat. I'm gonna go ahead and guess that you probably have a vision for this though? As long as you're passionate about it, you'll do something good.[/del]
I'm disappointed.

pretty cool
This looks like how movies depict pc games when they don't have the licence to actually show any of them, so they render a scene themselves.

Yet, they are not the same, only inspired by. 2barrels shotgun, minigun and the gun were not invented by idsoftware.
This game is a fan art and I'v made these changes to make it legal, you guys are acting like I'm trying to steal their idea, even when I say it started as a doom remake and changed duo to legal issues.
you stole it and replaced the shitty enemy assets with even shittier assets.
like whatever i guess good work but i dont know what im supposed to look at here, everything thats any decent you directly stole from a legitimate project

Well I'm very sorry you feel this way, you don't have to play it then.

It's a dick move regardless
There is a huge difference between being INSPIRED by old school games and trying to make a copy thats as close as possible to the original
Since nobody likes it here I decided to delete this post but I cant find an option to do so, so if someone has the ability to do it, please do.

id Software may not have invented those weapons, but many of your designs are taken straight from Doom. When you change it to be lawyer friendly it becomes more of a knockoff than fanwork.
I think this has potential, but I really reckon it would benefit from more original content. There's nothing at all wrong with Doom influence, you just should not take so much influence from Doom you basically become a source port.
With that out of the way, I'll say that I actually enjoy it. I think the weapon animations may need a bit more oomph and enemies need to react to being shot a bit better, but other than that I love it.
