Supraball is a hybrid of handball with a dash of first person shooter. Fire passes to teammates with precision and execute plays with ease. The trailer explains it very well.

It's free and has recently been Greenlit. Download here http://www.supraball.net/
Looks cool, downloading now :D
This looks neat as hell
I've had this game installed for a long time and I can confirm it's a blast. The game's mechanics are pleasantly intact and it is a bunch of fun with friends.
Looks fun. I'm downloading it now.
Only other FPSGs I've played were mods: one for Tribes (Tribes Football) and one for Half-Life (Kanonball). Both were great but the communities were small. Here's hoping this one gets somewhere!
"Hockey?"is MUCH, MUCH better.
"Hockey?"is MUCH, MUCH better.
They're 2 different games...
The only visible difference are the set pieces and ground measures. The ball / puck bounces off the walls in both games, your goal (heh) is identical too.
You've got more control over your actions in "Hockey?" while Supraball is basically point & click. They're not really that different.

Unfortunately, that's where all the invention ends.
hockey, a game where you have a stick and have to actually manipulate the puck
supraball, a game where you have a gun that can fire the ball across the field and fire curveballs with no stick mechanics or anything like it
yeah basically the same game
Exactly. Supraball is dumbed down.
Obviously, curveballs are such a big deal it makes both games completely different.

im gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're just not good at picking up the whole 'you're an idiot and you're doing nothing but making yourself look retarded' vibe
Not really a fan of the "dare to disagree and you're an idiot" approach. I played both and just shared my opinion. Got called an idiot in return. It's pretty retarded to start insulting. Pretty much sums up the whole Supraball community actually.

what you're saying is the equivelant of saying that Painkiller is just a dumbed down Half Life

You get called an idiot by some people on Facepunch, and then conclude the whole Supraball community feels the same way? Wow.
I don't know guys, I think he has a point. This does sort of seem like a Doom clone.
this is totes ripping off ricochet

Fantastic deduction...
No, I said it "pretty much sums up the whole community" based on my previous experience.
there was a time where this could had gathered way more attention, and that time was one month ago.
looks like a fun idea, but i wonder if there is enough people to actually play it.
this is totes ripping off ricochet
Does Ricochet even have anything to rip off on? If anything this game is just taking the mechanics and making it into something you can actually play enjoyably.
i'm pretty sure he was joking.
It's on Steam now http://store.steampowered.com/app/321400/
Didn't one of the developers cause a stir by being a Holocaust denier?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Supraball/comments/36b3re/keeping_reddit_clean/
Developers got mad about people mentioning it and made the whole subreddit only open to approved submitters.
