War. War never changes.
The Romans waged war to gather slaves and wealth. Spain built an empire from its lust for gold and territory. Hitler shaped a battered Germany into an economic superpower.
But war never changes.
In the 21st century, war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons: Petroleum and Uranium. For these
resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European Commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling
the last remaining resources on Earth.
In 2077, the storm of world war had come again. In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders. And from the ashes of nuclear devastation, a new civilization
would struggle to arise.

Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game, also referred to as simply Fallout, developed by Interplay and its division, Dragonplay, and self-published on September 30, 1997, is the
first game in the Fallout series. The game was initially intended to use Steve Jackson Games' GURPS system, but when Interplay made the decision to drop GURPS on February 12,
1997, it created its own system, SPECIAL. Fallout is seen as the "spiritual successor" to Interplay's classic 1987 CRPG Wasteland.
In the aftermath of the Great War, the surface world burned. Underneath, hidden deep underground in Vault 13, survivors live a sheltered and comfortable life, away from the
radiation and the perils of the wastes. In 2161, the vault's water chip fails, and needs a replacement. You are selected to exit the vault and find a new water chip on the surface.

Note: If you have bought Fallout 1 at GOG or Steam, the latest version will already include the High Resolution Patch. If you are using an other version, the High Resolution Patch
is Highly recommended. If you use Fallout Fixt you won't need the Unofficial Fallout 1 Patch, these fixes are included within Fallout Fixt itself. Fallout Fixt runs independently from
Fallout 1, and such savefiles from Fallout 1 are not compatible with Fallout Fixt and vice versa.

Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Role Playing Game is the sequel to the original Fallout. Released on September the 30th, 1998, it was officially developed by Black Isle Studios, which by
that point had become a full-fledged design outfit. Fallout 2 is considered one of Black Isle Studios' best RPGs by most critics, and is generally well respected in the RPG community.
Eighty years after saving Vault 13, the Vault Dweller wandered the wastes and founded the village of Arroyo, where a secluded tribe lives in simplicity and peace. As an unforgiving
drought hits the village and threatens to starve its people, the Chosen One is sent to the wastes to find a Garden of Eden Creation Kit and save his people.

Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel or simply Fallout Tactics, developed by Micro Forté and published by Interplay in 2001, is technically the third title in the Fallout series, but is
not a traditional RPG (so it wasn't entitled Fallout 3). Instead, Fallout Tactics focuses on squad-based combat and introduces near real-time combat, called "continuous turn-based"
by the developers, as well as multiplayer mode, to the Fallout series. The game takes place in the American Midwest rather than the West Coast, where the previous Fallout titles
took place. Because of inconsistencies with all the previous Fallout games, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is not part of the official Fallout canon except for its pivotal events.
When the game starts, the Brotherhood is trying to claim territory surrounding Chicago. By offering protection to villages of tribals the Brotherhood is able to draft it's recruits from
among the tribals. At the beginning of the game, the player character is an Initiate, a new recruit to the Brotherhood, tasked to lead a squad of soldiers made up of the available
troops. As the campaign against the raiders succeeds into dispersing them into the wasteland, the player character is accepted fully into the Brotherhood and learns the eventual
goal of the Brotherhood: A campaign west across the Great Plains towards the Rocky Mountains in search of Vault Zero, the one-time nucleus and command center of the pre-war
vault network, where the most senior government, scientific and themilitary leaders were housed and the highest technology available was maintained.

Fallout 3 is a post-apocalyptic action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the third installment in the Fallout series
and the first installment in the series to show the East Coast of the United States, with a story mostly disjointed from the two previous installments. It was released on
October 28, 2008 in North America, on October 31, 2008 in Europe and on December 4, 2008 in Japan.
Two hundred years after the great war, life in Vault 101 persists, its people few in numbers but sheltered from the perils of the wastes. Your father, the Vault's resident doctor,
raised you alone to a comfortable, if simple life. In 2277, your father leaves the Vault for unknown reasons and you find yourself following in his footsteps. Forced out of the vault,
you must find your Father in the Capital Wastelands.

Fallout: New Vegas is a role-playing video game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. While technically a sequel to Fallout 3, New Vegas
goes back to the West Coast and instead follows up on the events of Fallout 1 and 2. It was developed by a few of the employees who worked on previous Fallout games at Black
Isle Studios, along with a larger number of new employees. It is set in the Mojave Desert.
The year is 2281. In the middle of the Mojave Desert lies an oasis of vice and neon lights - New Vegas, the heart of the desert, ruled by the mysterious Mister House. Gamblers
come to test their luck and NCR troops come to forget about the ever lasting threat of Caesar's Legion. You are the Courier, and you were tasked with delivering a platinum chip
to Mister House. But you never made it - the lights of the strip were but a vague tint in the horizon when a man in a checkered suit ambushed you, stole your package, and shot
you in the head, leaving you in a shallow grave. You awake eight days later, with a hole in your head and a score to settle.

Modding
Modding is the same process for Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4, and is the same as modding Elder Scrolls games. Mods are installed manually by dropping the files in the DATA folder of the game or automatically by using Nexus Mod Manager, and then activating the .esp and .esm files (if any) in a mod manager. Mod Organizer offers has a different mod installation method described in its tutorials.

A must have for decent building.
I some how have 2.4gb of 10mb saves from my three characters.

Wow, the fact that they just reskinned the Far Harbor Barn parts for the Warehouse parts is just ridiculous.
Not what the banner says. :v:
Or does it.

So I've only gotten into the realm of Fallout 4 modding, and I was wondering if there was a mod/script that allowed me to take workshop pieces like walls and angle them? And by angle, I mean make them slanted for something like "repairing" roofs on some settlements.
I saw the Place in Red - Reborn mod, but I rather not have to download the cheat engine for something like that. Does anyone know of an alternative mod?

I actually have that installed, but I can't seem to get it to work for whatever reason. Let me try it again.
Did anything significant happen in vault 28?

You have the F4SE right? Also you'll need to update to the newest version if you haven't already.
In the brotherhood radiant quest where you take squires to a location and clear it out, the game wanted me to go all the way to far harbor with this squire, and this was a new game so I hadn't even started far harbor yet

You can travel freely back and forth between far harbor and the wasteland while doing the far harbor storyline, i did a few settlement defenses and dropped gear off several times while playing it.
Dibs on first post!
You should update Place in the Red for the newer and much better better spiritual succesor Place in Red - Reborn
A must have for decent building.
If you don't want to use Cheat Engine, I recommend using Place Everywhere, it does the same thing, but you don't need Cheat Engine

Yeah I had everything properly installed, I just wasn't using f4se_loader.exe to launch the game.
Now that I know Place everywhere works, the problem I have is this.

I'm having a hard time getting any of the objects (roofs, floors, walls, whatever) to match the angle of the roof line. I know that I can change the rotation axis by hitting Ctrl as mentioned by the author, but I then I can't seem to actually apply that change to an object? Unless I can't have a roof at a simply 45 degree angle? I don't seem to be the only one with this issue because someone posted on the mod's forum page asking about a similar issue to mine.

I don't think Vault 28 has been in a game yet.

i'm aware, it's not that it's more so the fact that captain kells was asking me to take this squire to a place they don't even know exists yet, far far away from the commonwealth for this kid's first mission
I wish they would have done more story dlc. I couldn't care less about the settlement customization. At least we get Nuka World.
what time does contraptions release?
10 hours
I don't even know where i should place the Contraptions stuff :v: :

I wish I could build big, complicated, great looking settlements, but i don't know if it's where i'm building them or how i'm building them that makes it so when I try walking up to it only 1/3 of the stuff i put down actually shows up, everything else just pops in as I approach it. fast traveling fixes this, but i've always had this fantasy of running away from enemies to my settlement where my defenses finish them off.
