In this thread I'll be posting all the custom ships that I've been making for BallisticNG. For those who don't know, BallisticNG is a fan tribute to oldschool PS1 Wipeout games, complete with PS1 graphics. That's why all these ships are lowpoly and lowres.
Tremulis Monarch
The first thing I ever modeled in Blender. BallisticNG was a wonderful entry point for a beginner modeler, because PS1 level graphics are not too demanding.

Tremulis Scabbard

This one was originally meant to have a roof mounted surf board rack with two boards, but it turned out that the game doesn't support the alpha channel on ship textures.

Tremulis Bonneville
Man, it's really challenging to make a curvy vehicle under 300 triangles. This one has 258, and I tried to bring more curves with the shading of the texture. I have a whole new respect for PS1 devs after this one.

Oh man nice! I didn't know this game existed, what amazing luck. I loved Wipeout. I even doodled a car to kinda fit in it's universe, but I'm not a modeller.

There's no warmth like the warmth of sitting inside your engine.
Well, go enjoy the game. It's free!
How exactly do you make custom tracks for the game? Know how to import them, but unsure what tool should be used to make them.

Any 3D modelling tool you know how to use will work as far as I know.
BallisticNG needs more coverage and those are some damn fine ships!
A new addition to the series, Tremulis Lanebird. Heavily inspired by General Motors during the 50's and 60's. There's a bit of Buick Centurion 1956, a bit of Cadillac Cyclone 1959 and a bit of Cadillac Coupe de Ville 1960. Stats wise I wanted a tad lower top speed with huge acceleration. Fun fact: This is kind of a re-imagining of one of my earlier Gmod hovercars. Those who know me and my Gmod stuff might recognize which one.
