Let me introduce you guys to something that I'm not sure if you have heard about before. http://www.last-outpost.net/rpg-x/ This is the ultimate Star Trek roleplaying game, if you're into that sort of thing. They don't have a very big community, and they mostly keep to themselves, but there is plenty of opportunity for expansion. This mod is built off of Elite Force 1. However, you do not need Elite Force 1 to be able to play, it is a standalone mod. In this game, you are able to pick your ship, your profession, and act it out to the best of your ability. Always dreamt about working along side Geordi LaForge or Dr. Crusher? Now you can. With a huge variety of different maps (Federation and Alien ships available, as well as many different worlds) you are able to really create some interesting stories. Its fantastic and there are some really awesome moments I've had playing this. The story is totally in your control. The mod really just gives you the basic building blocks that you can then take and create a adapting and evolving story around them. I brought this up in a thread about the 3D Enterprise-D build, and I was told that it would make a good thread here, and to see how many people were interested. It would be nice to get a FP community going for this game. If anybody wants to play, I would be more than happy to play with anybody who wants to. Have a video: If this has already been posted before I apologize, I had never seen it on here before. Also if this is a shitty OP, I apologize again, this is the first one I have ever made.
Have been in and out of this for seven or eight years now. Anyone who wants to try some functional Star Trek roleplaying should give this a go - holds up well and is still being worked on. There's a newer video, though it's unofficial and doesn't really convey everything that well.
