It's come to my understanding that there are imgur issues, so I'm remaking the images for the OP. It’s a co-op survival horror game. Up to 6 players in online co-op mode, or just you, on your own, playing the Solo mode. The aim – cleanse each area of zombies, in waves, until you get to the last one. The Big One. The Patriarch. Then exterminate him, too. Actually, they aren’t “zombies”. They are the left-over “specimens” from a cheap and dirty government program to clone soldier-monsters. The basic ones will just munch on your arm and try to disembowel you. The bigger ones were the first ones they tried arming. Nothing much. Just a chainsaw or a blade for starters. They had just got on to the chain gun and rockets when the government tried to secretly shut down their secret program. But, in the typical way these things go, the program didn’t want to be shut down. The specimens got loose. No-one was left alive to turn off the specimen-cloning equipment. And now they are running amok. Well, some of them are running amok. Others are shambling amok or even jumping amok, but you get the idea. The police were sent in, but that wasn’t even a challenge for the specimens. The first army units hadn’t been warned what to expect. The screams of “its got a bloody chainsaw!” over the radios probably didn’t do much for morale, as whole units were chewed up. Quite literally, in some cases, of course. And now, there is just you. And a few friends. The few survivors from the first police and army units thrown in. Of course, you can’t tell anyone anything, because that would be a breach of the Official Secrets Act 1911, 1920, 1989. And that would be a disciplinary offense. So just get in there and do your bit for Queen and Country… In KILLING FLOOR 2 players descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union— Just one month after the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray; communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding. Not all have given up hope though... A group of civilians and mercenaries have banded together to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe. Upon tracking specimen clone outbreaks, players will descend into zed-laden hot zones and exterminate them. Zombies. Lots of them. Big ones, little ones. Armed and Dangerous. It's up to you to make them just go away! > Visceral Gore KILLING FLOOR 2 ramps up the gore with a proprietary, high powered persistent blood system bringing new levels of fidelity to the genre. Players will send entrails, severed limbs, and blood flying as they wade through hordes of enemies. But they need to watch out! If caught, enemies will rip them, and their entire party limb from limb > 6 Player Co-Op Or Offline Solo Play A multitude of varied playable characters await for players to choose from as they enter the fray in online co-op mode or solo mode for those willing to brave the horrific specimens alone. > Terrifying Zeds New enemies and fan favorites from the original game are back with expanded and smarter artificial intelligence, dishing out powerful attacks, attacking in mobs to weaken the player’s party and pushing the challenge level and fear factor to new levels. > New Take On "Difficulty" Most games just ramp up health and damage for the enemies. In KF2, the Zeds will start to behave differently as you work through the difficulty levels. New attack moves. New ways to get at you. New strategies. Be prepared for surprises! > Unique Blend Of Weaponry Modern military assault rifles, brutal improvised makeshift weapons, classic historical guns, and off the wall “Mad Scientist” weapons, KILLING FLOOR 2 has a unique blend of killing tools that will satisfy any gamer. > Expanded Perk System Perks from the original game have been reimagined with more added to the fold. All perks now progress with meaningful talent choices that amplify different play styles, giving players a progression path that is expansive and full of rewarding milestones. > Brutal Melee Combat KILLING FLOOR 2 reinvents melee combat completely. Players now have control over the type of melee attacks they can perform, enabling them to deliver bone-breaking crippling attacks to Zeds. > Free SDK As always with our games, the tools to create maps and so much more! With Early Access, this will allow the creation of new levels. The full SDK support will be rolled out through the Early Access period. What class do you guys think is next?
I'm rooting for gunslinger and sharpshooter.
That new thread smell! I want demo to have a better tier 2. Dear god is it awful. Move the m79 up to T2, give it more ammo, decrease the damage a little and buff C4.
Oh man. The RPG mod is great!
Threadly reminder that Support needs more ammo but will never get it because TWI hates anything that can both multikill trash and can last halfway through a Suicidal endgame wave in terms of ammo. [editline]24th September 2015[/editline] Also RIP circle strafing
Okay, so the Sheep RPG server is fucking BEAUTIFUL CHAOS
Also RIP circle strafing
They should really bring it back in some different way. It was severely OP before, but now the only perks that can reliably take on scrakes are firebugs and berserkers. I could see maybe having some kind of dodge button that has a cooldown.
it'll be easier when the martial artist comes out, im sure.
Could you please put the RPG server IP in the OP, as well as any other FP-related community servers?
Could you please put the RPG server IP in the OP, as well as any other FP-related community servers?
PM me them, and I'll add them post-haste.
is there a way to level up in a non-legitimate sort of way which doesn't involve cheat engine or some shit like that? Something like a levelling map, I saw one before but the download link for it was fucked
is there a way to level up in a non-legitimate sort of way which doesn't involve cheat engine or some shit like that? I've just overhauled the OP, gave it a LOT more flair. If you have any custom maps, server IPs, ect, ect, just PM me them and I'll get them added as soon as possible.
I got linked to one that gives you XP, but the progress doesn't save Cheat Engine is the only way left
I remember the kf1 perk levelling maps just had an area that contained zeds where you could shoot them but they couldn't fight back so I'm pretty sure that's still possible.
Nice OP, super slick. [t]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_UF23x04t-U/VgL3reNVxUI/AAAAAAAAEZU/EKKXuPxP0c8/s1383-Ic42/DiscountRex_Wip01.jpg[/t] I kind of like this for Donovan too.
I remember the kf1 perk levelling maps just had an area that contained zeds where you could shoot them but they couldn't fight back so I'm pretty sure that's still possible.
Tripwire released a patch for Killing Floor 1 back on Nov. 8th, 2012 that allowed perk progression on all maps.
I remember the kf1 perk levelling maps just had an area that contained zeds where you could shoot them but they couldn't fight back so I'm pretty sure that's still possible.
no it's not???? if a zed is spawned on command, the xp is void and kf1 =/= kf2
Nice OP, super slick. [t]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_UF23x04t-U/VgL3reNVxUI/AAAAAAAAEZU/EKKXuPxP0c8/s1383-Ic42/DiscountRex_Wip01.jpg[/t] I kind of like this for Donovan too.
Donosaur.
I remember the kf1 perk levelling maps just had an area that contained zeds where you could shoot them but they couldn't fight back so I'm pretty sure that's still possible.
There is a map you can do perk training on called "kf-timbosperktrainingv3". Zeds spawn through normal in-game mechanisms into a box, and it will give exp. Problem is it's still slow as fuck and unbelievably boring. Only Cheat Engine table I've found did not work so I had to add new code to the injector. It's not hard but it's not exactly trivial either. Cheat Engine's new tutorial helps a lot though.
Been thinking of interesting sharpshooter level 25 perks, how does this sound: Freischütz, the first six shots during zed time bounces between enemies like this: You shoot clot 1, raytrace in a 45 degree plane with one of the sides of it aligning with the bullet trajectory(random which side), if there's an enemy in that raytrace, bullet bounces to that one and it does it again for X number of bounces. Maybe if you shoot a seventh it has a chance to bounce to a friendly :v:
Alright I bought it. questions about Hans, when he is surrounded by like a red shield, is he invulnerable? Possibly dumb question but eh.
Alright I bought it. questions about Hans, when he is surrounded by like a red shield, is he invulnerable? Possibly dumb question but eh.
It's either that or a very high damage reduction, somebody will correct me. It's usually best to just let him grab the Zerk (if there is one) and have the Medic just heal him.
Alright I bought it. questions about Hans, when he is surrounded by like a red shield, is he invulnerable? Possibly dumb question but eh.
85% invulnerability. Better off getting grabbed and letting your teammates patch you up

So is there no way to powerlevel anymore on maps?
So is there no way to powerlevel anymore on maps?
Here's what I don't get: If you're going to just cheat your level up, why not use something like Cheat Engine? There is no more validity or justification in wasting an exponential amount of extra time in a specially designed map for the same purpose. But to answer your question, as has been done here before, you cannot gain XP on maps that have scripted enemy spawning buttons or the like anymore. It'll reset the second you leave the map. What you can do is find or make a map in which there are normal ZED spawners that put ZEDs in an area that they basically cannot fight back. There were a lot of maps like this for KF1.

Didn't work, (putting base xp as first scan, then what my xp is after a kill and getting one result left, but even when changing it, it keeps resetting back to what it used to be)

I dicked around with it awhile back and wound up accidently leveling Commando to 15 instead of 5. Your XP value is a total culmination of all the XP you've ever earned, not what's left remaining in the level. Somewhere there's an actual formula on how to find said value.
