I recently bought Black and White 2 again on pc after a long time of not having it and being that i'm on windows 10 I had to get a cracked exe(if mods or whatever need proof of my purchase just ask) to get the game to actually run but my disciples don't want to anything I say, I hear the lady say "disciple farmer" or "disciple builder" but they just stand wherever I placed them, i'm assuming it's something to do with the crack?

I could try with the patches and leave the disk in without the crack, just most places said the game doesn't work otherwise
Quite a few people keep saying that the anti-piracy DRM installs a driver that is incompatible with Windows 10, and many pirated versions have a "bug" (anti-piracy thing) that causes children not to grow up, they stay permanently at age 1. I suppose you could try to look for a new crack that has detailed walkthrough of how to bypass that feature?

I shall have to have a proper look tomorrow, it's a shame GoG or even ea don't have it origin or atleast some support for it

I had the same issue as you did. The first thing I tried is using a no-cd crack, which is legal if you do own the game. however most of those create very anoying bugs. then I stumbled upon a fanmade patch, that apparently removes the safedisc stuff and does some graphic fixes. in fact, thats the main feature of the patch.
[B]Anyways what you have to do is this:
Install black and white with your disc BUT
make sure the install directory has no spaces in it. I even removed numbers and weird characters. so it became /lionheadstudios/blackwhitetwo
this is because the official patches are sensitive to spaces and whatnot.
then, do not run the game, but apply the two official patches.
after that, apply the fanmade patch:[/B]

I've been thinking about reinstalling the game but since I have W10 as well, I'll probably run into the same problems, so I would personally appreciate it a lot if you found out how to run it!
If you haven't tried it already, try running it on various different service packs in compatibility mode. I remember a long while back playing it on Windows 7 and having to do that just to get it to start up properly.
Speaking of Black & White 2, I've got an issue with it on Windows 8.1, if anyone has an idea, all the torches, at night, have a big ol black square around them that's visible at any distance(and through objects), and it gets really distracting :v:
