• Emulation aid? -or- Fiddling around with PSP & DS

Can one of you tech-minded folks lend a hand? I’m really bad with this stuff, even the basic processes seem to escape me when it comes to the various terms, slang, ‘drag & drop’, etc. what typically happens: I’ll forget ONE tiny step or make ONE error in dropping an item into a specific folder, causing the game/emulator to not appear (obviously), and then I’ll say SCREW it and give up in frustration. :frown: I had a main tech dude that did all of this shit FOR me - very patiently and in layman’s terms - but we’ve since lost touch through the years. He set up several of my DSs (AceKard) as well as a bunch of PSPs. While I’m forever grateful, the games/films that he filled me up with back then have grown a bit stale. I need new stuff and dunno how to properly do it all! If you have a great deal of patience and are skilled in these things, I’d really appreciate a hand. Maybe via PM? I’d rather not have it all on public display, where knuckleheads and trolls can make dickish and unproductive comments. I’ve heard it all before, trust me. Thanks in advance!
I do believe this falls under the Warez rule since it's trying to download the actual games part on it which generally falls under Piracy. Maybe not, but Emulation is a grey area. Emulating a game and talking about games that are emulated are ok, but to actually get the game requires that you download it online, which is the illegal part. Alternatively, you could find a way to manually copy the games files from a disc or cartridge you already own, which puts it back into grey area.
