Welcome to Nintendo (mobile) General, where we talk about Fire Emblem Heroes and only Fire Emblem Heroes. Please take all other discussion elsewhere. :plsunderstand:
If you somehow don't already know about all of Nintendo's recent mobile endeavors, check out this article.
Nintendo now develops mobile titles via a partnership with DeNA. These games take Nintendo's franchises and adapt them into mobile genres. They are all high-quality productions, but feature simplified gameplay to suit the mobile market.
And no, Nintendo didn't make Pokémon GO.
Current Mobile Game Lineup
Super Mario Run
[t]https://i.imgur.com/AnsHW9P.jpg[/t]
A premium paid auto-runner with no micro transactions. Mario starts each level and runs from the left side of the screen to the right and tapping makes him jump. Pretty simple concept and one I'm sure you've seen before in similar titles. The thing that sets it apart from others though is that the multiple playable characters all offer different styles of jumping. Luigi of course has a higher hop, Peach can float etcetc.
You can gain extra characters by playing Toad Rally where you and other players can place bets on who can get the highest score in a single run of a level. Get enough Toads and you can buy decorations that unlock the rest of the cast (as well as decorations you can place in the hub screen, but they honestly don't do anything as far as I can tell.)
The game also features a Remix mode that takes a bunch of levels, makes them even shorter, and has you rapid fire through them Wario Ware style in rapid succession. It's honestly a lot of fun!
Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes is a free to play game that yanks characters from the entire series and lets you use them to clear small tactics based boards. While it starts off a little too easy the mid-late game will ask you to actually think about your moves and positioning and in that regard it's a pretty good tactics game you can enjoy on the fly!
It features arena battles, a full story mode, seasonal event maps and more. It's feature rich!
To get more heroes though you have to spend a in-game currency (orbs) in a typical gacha fashion. You can gain orbs through gameplay or via microtransactions. There's a system involved with colors and classes but I'll choose to let the in game tutorial walk you through that part. Just know that if you like this kind of game you're going to be tempted by the orb gods.
FE:H Also frequently has seasonal updates featuring characters in goofy costumes with unusual stats so if you're determined to stay F2P it might be a good idea to hold onto any orbs you gain until a new event pops up.
Seriously though, this game is a juggernaut and the front runner for Nintendo's mobile market. You really don't have to worry about the game dying anytime soon.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
[t]https://i.imgur.com/xDETjN1.jpg[/t]
AC:PC is another game that's F2P to somewhat mixed results.
Players are tasked with designing a small camp site to lure in their favorite villagers, which you can then do menial tasks for in the hopes of getting schematics for new things to build or materials in general. Such activities involve fishing and bug catching and... that's about it honestly. The games best described as a mix of the mainline Animal Crossing and the spin-off Happy Home Designer. It's something where you can just relax and decorate with granted you sink enough time into it. Like the main series don't look for a end game, just enjoy the experience.
(But seriously Nintendo, when are we getting another main line game?!)

thread has been blessed by small hand smiley man
good pulls and lots of colorless orbs will bless you
This is sort of an extention of things, since it's on the 3DS and mobile, but I figure it's important enough to put here.

Regular new releases on Pokemon Shuffle has basically ended, as the update today put events on autopilot until 2037 in 24 week cycles. There's a few odds and ends that need releases and still have data, but the game has basically put out to pasture.
Going for Amelia pulls today I managed to snag a 5* Raven.
Anyone know if he's a good +10 opportunity? I need a strong green hero for my arena core, it's either him, Sheena or Fae
Can anyone recommend a specific breed livestock I need to sacrifice in order to help me summon a Love Abounds Hector?
Or at least the ability to get more than one fucking green per summon? I'm F2P and 5 orbs a summon for a >2% chance at a Hector isn't very sustainable.
I want Lyn so bad, but whenever a blue orb shows up, no joke, it's a 3 star Florina. I have 8 already.
"It depends on builds and the 50 orbs too. The Legendary Heroes banner I'd much better to destroy your Nowi Zowi is just realized that tome on a straight 13 MT and pull a merged Ayra is too low to Dark Excalibur and Dark Excalibur are prf tomes and refine it worth going with the Hero Fest banner I'd have Ike or Azura or Azura or a melee weapon has 16 might or Takumi I used without getting a Spd"
- fire emblem, probably
[sp]or a markov chain trained on fire emblem posts... shhhhh[/sp]

Get yourself a acrylic key chain from a convention or online store and use it as a lucky charm just like I did.

Here's what mine looks like +Atk- hp. Still fucking with him and I want to try galeforce when I get another cordelia. He deletes people but is also easily deleted so you need a strong blue like nowi to handle reds. Fury is probably better but Lnd is fun.

add distand defense SS too
I need to build up orbs again.

He won't show up if you have both Eliwood and Lilina in your barracks, you'll need to send the Elis home.
For real though, keep trying. Mine took a whole mess of orbs to get, and I actually got a Myrrh before he showed up. He wound up being +HP/-Def, but he can still tussle with the stronger red units, and it makes him a great candidate for Panic Ploy.
myrrh is the best unit in the game and i want to protect her
Oh neat, Pocket Camp got an update. You can now dress animals when you've hit a high enough level for them, you can place down two rugs instead of just one, animals at campsite locations will send you stuff via prize balloons, and there's a slot machine at OK Motors that costs friend powder and spits out redeemable tokens for essences and resources.
Pretty nice update.

Villagers also request flowers as well as the usual bugs, fish, shells and fruit.

Noice my core is her, raven, and masked marth. Nowi is my strongest unit even though I don't have steady breath.
Is that a fucking Armor March seal as a TT reward?
Is that a fucking Armor March seal as a TT reward?
No it's just boots
I finally got my boy seasonal Hector,be his IVs are horrible...+speed(on an armored unit) & -res. Is there any decent build for this monster?
Thoughts on the rhythm minigame in FEH: it's a good concept but needs quite some work, all of them centering around one thing: rewards, especially for the harder difficulties.
- There's no reason to clear new floors above casual/normal difficulty. There's no extra rewards whatsoever.
- There's no reason why you shouldn't hit casual/normal difficulty and just tap your way through like a drunken attempt at morse code. You get a lower rank? Big fucking whoop, it has no impact. C, B, S, it's all the same in the end. You cleared the level, you get the orb/crystals/whatever. It's not like TT where a higher rank gets you more feathers or anything.
- Once you've reached the final floor, it becomes basically pointless. The daily quests give almost nothing. 100 feathers is really meh and 50 great badges is even more inconsequential.
So I was having a go at the Tempest Trial and

They forgot to give the lad his weapon. :v:

I think it's a garbage mode that has nothing to do with Fire Emblem's gameplay whatsoever. I'm all for more stuff to spice things up since doing random maps isn't exactly the most engaging thing, but adding a random rhythm mode (and a bad one to boot) isn't the way to go about it.

Funny, I had a Zelgius without a weapon too in one of my first runs.
Somehow managed to draw a +Atk -Spd LA!Hector alongside a spare Nephenee.

Considering all the memes over at the FEH subreddit, it's a pretty wide-spread bug.

I updated my anti mage maid:

If I have enough coins I'll probably replace poison strike with the new fortress res seal, which should guarantee her survival against units like Reinhardt and she can immediately retaliate with a fully charged Glacies :v:.
I'm definitely upping Fortress Res to throw on her and considering putting Iceberg on her instead of Glacies so she can use it more often.
[editline]14th February 2018[/editline]
Also, I think that any Zelgius in the TT spawns without a weapon. I've had one more Zelgius spawn and he had no weapon. What a bizarre bug.
when Zelgius spawn in training tower he uses only a silver sword + too, i think he's a bit bugged
Unless you are running close counter on Felicia I feel distant def seal is way better or even +res seal.
Gimme more feathers please I need to make my merging dreams come true
[editline]14th February 2018[/editline]
Heavy blade works on both initiating and defending right? I was thinking of throwing it on Nowi, along with Aether to make use of my 4 Ikes
