The WikiLeaks founder has been holed up in Knightsbridge since the summer of 2012, when he faced the prospect of extradition to Sweden over claims that he sexually assaulted two women. He denies the accusations. Swedish prosecutors last year unexpectedly dropped their investigation into the allegations, which included a claim of rape. But Assange still faces arrest for breaching bail conditions if he steps outside the embassy and WikiLeaks has voiced fears that the US will seek his extradition and that there is a sealed indictment ordering his arrest.
This wouldn't have happened if he had turned himself in the first place and allowed my country to finish the investigation...
This wouldn't have happened if he had turned himself in the first place and allowed my country to finish the investigation...
say what you like about Wikileaks nowadays, nobody had any intention of conducting a fair trial for Assange
I wonder if this has something to do with harboring a Russian shill looking a lot less glamorous than a supposed martyr for transparency.
If she truly believes that then why haven't they just extradited him?
This wouldn't have happened if he had turned himself in the first place and allowed my country to finish the investigation...
It wouldn't have happened if there had been guarantees made that he wouldn't be extradited/kidnapped and taken on a rendition flight to the US.
This wouldn't have happened if he had turned himself in the first place and allowed my country to finish the investigation...
Right, the perfectly honest and real investigation
He promised to turn himself in if Obama granted clemency to Chelsea Manning. Obama delivered, maybe it's time for Assange to?
According to this, he has apparently received an Ecuadorian passport. And also, he posted this a couple of hours ago on Twitter: Related to this?
It's confirmed, they granted him citizenship and tried to get him accredited as a diplomat but the UK told them to fuck off https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/media/2018/jan/11/julian-assange-is-made-ecuadorian-citizen-in-effort-to-resolve-impasse
imagine being Julian, wanted by the fucken USA and other contries. I can only hope he does not get tortured to fuck in the end.
imagine being Julian, wanted by the fucken USA and other contries. I can only hope he does not get tortured to fuck in the end.
Not only that but, like Trump, a Russian puppet.
imagine being Julian, wanted by the fucken USA and other contries. I can only hope he does not get tortured to fuck in the end.
If he ever comes into U.S. Govt. Custody it'll either not be on the news whatsoever or it'll be the newest conspiracy theory to hit the web :v:
So, what? Is this guy gonna remain practically on the run for the rest of his days? Man, i don't know. I wonder if he lives in fear. I know I would, for sure.
I wonder what the motivations are behind WikiLeaks/Assange's slide into being a propaganda outlet for Trump and Russia. I had always assumed it was either blackmail or them making him a deal and promising him his freedom after some time.. I mean, what other reason could there be? I know there was the talk about the FSB basically warning WikiLeaks they could destroy them right before WikiLeaks was going to do a leak on Russian interests. Assange has a family, maybe they're threatening to kill them? It really is confusing.
say what you like about Wikileaks nowadays, nobody had any intention of conducting a fair trial for Assange
Nyet, great mother russia will try him fairly! [editline]12th January 2018[/editline]
imagine being Julian, wanted by the fucken USA and other contries. I can only hope he does not get tortured to fuck in the end.
Well, under Obama he wouldn't, trump on the other hand might sign the decree with a pen in one hand and his twitter feed in the other
This seems to kind of get lost in talking about Assange, but to this day he has never been charged with a crime by the US government, although the Trump DOJ has said they'd like to charge him. The Swedish case against him has also been dropped and the only reason he's still a wanted man is for having breached his bail conditions by entering the embassy in the first place
Breaking News: Assange is apparently a gross smelly man
Only an Aussie can be this much of thorn in someones ass.
