Every couple of months a new dumb internet craze comes along that everyone gets involved in – you know like the Mannequin Challenge or the Ice Bucket Challenge or NekNominate – and they’re usually pretty annoying but 90% of the time they’re just a bit of fun and not actually detrimental to your health. [h=6]Not so with this next one though, which is loving referred to as the Hot Coil Challenge. In case you can’t figure out what this involves, then you can check out the moron in the video below taking part in it for the first time. It’s pretty much exactly what you would expect it to be though:
https://www.sickchirpse.com/hot-coil-challenge/[/h]Not gonna upload the video, its dumb enough.
can't we just have a "tell a stranger they look wonderful today" challenge
Spit those tide pods out kids, time for a real challenge!
I dont believe people are doing this. I refuse to believe people are this dumb.
I don't believe this one is real. First of all, I don't think people are that stupid. Second of all, who the fuck has a hot coil hob in 2018 and why aren't they aren't they using them for hot knives? You only need two or three kids to do something before the media starts calling it the new challenge
Who the fuck comes up with this shit? How dose it get started?

EDIT: Yup. This is a quality journalist. [t]https://i.imgur.com/gzUj7kR.png[/t]
can't we just have a "tell a stranger they look wonderful today" challenge
You look wonderful today :) drink plenty of water and get a goodnights sleep
I don't think this is a fad, I only see the one video. However every news site has copied this report.
How about this <----------------- [sp]click the title[/sp]
I don't think this is a fad, I only see the one video. However every news site has copied this report.
maybe the media cut a deal with the vintage oven market :conspiratard:
best way to stop the spread of stupid is to not write articles about and share stupid
I searched around and couldn't find any videos or pictures of other people doing the "challenge" :s: Journalists are probably being retards as usual and trying to capitalize on whatever people are outraged by this month.
yeah this is probably the only video and it's being sensationalized i've never seen a burn that looks like that, i'm not entire sure this is real tbh. all of this is easily achieved in after effects
live a long and fulfilling life challenge
Reminds me of that one episode of Beavis and Butthead where Beavis dips his entire arm into boiling oil and just goes "Huhuhuh, that was cool!"
How about doing the best challenge of them all, the "Stop doing idiotic challenges" challenge? Winner doesn't end up going to the hospital from their stupidity and also wins not being made fun of for doing any challenges the internet tries to come up with next.
I feel like 4chan probably has nothing to do nowadays since it seems like people just start these things of their own accord.
"Kids these days!" What are they thinking, as a kid I knew what was dumb and what I shouldn't do. Fuck I even looked both ways crossing the street, maybe that will be the new fad - "Don't look before you walk!" (J-walkling in America)
live a long and fulfilling life challenge
actually a pretty difficult one
actually a pretty difficult one
That is why it is called a challenge.

it's like wannabe news sites want to see this become a fad so they actually have something substantial to 'report' on.
live a long and fulfilling life challenge
speedrun
I did the hot coil challenge at work one day by accident on a piece of machinery.
I feel like this is discriminatory to those who are fortunate enough to have gas ranges
how drunk was this guy on a scale of one to drunk "dont do it again" because that guy most def needed to be told
Same as tide pods, if you're dumb enough to do this... Like.... really?
I don't believe in a lot of internet/teen challenge fads. Journalists just make up shit about teenagers all the time, like rainbow parties years ago. Maybe like 5 people will have done this and that's it and that says nothing about anybody except those 5 people are dumb
the easily accessible internet was a mistake
You can put the word "challenge" in front of anything and you'll have swarms of attention starved people who are desperate for their 15 minutes of internet fame do it. No matter how stupid and potentially detrimental to one's health it is. Assuming the challenge here is real.
