Some Donald Trump supporters have threatened to boycott ABC’s “The Goldbergs” after creator Adam F. Goldberg tweeted that “the president is completely and utterly broken.”
While some Twitter users interpreted the tweet as a swipe at Trump, they clearly weren’t reading the tweet in its entirety: “My God, the President is completely and utterly broken! I can’t tell you how disappointed I am. This isn’t fixable, is it? #Skroob,” he wrote
That’s right, Goldberg’s tweet about “the president” was actually referencing Mel Brooks’ iconic character President Skroob from “Spaceballs.” He even included a photo of a literally broken action figure to illustrate the point.
But that didn’t stop some of Goldberg’s followers from jumping down his throat.
“With all due respect, Potus is in complete control. He is fixing what W and O broke,” wrote one Trump supporter. “We put up with Obama in his eight years kissing globalists behinds and destroying Americans jobs, so we would appreciate our turn.. America,” wrote another.
Goldberg clearly had some fun egging on the outrage, as he doubled down on is criticism of “the president” in his replies.
“Grateful my actors are rallying around me over the incompetent President. We will not be silent! Down with Spaceball City!,” he wrote in one response, linking to a tweet of support from “The Goldbergs” star Wendi McLendon-Covey.
Goldberg later tweeted that speaking out against Skroob cost him both viewers and over a thousand followers, but he clearly has no regrets.
“Upon awakening, I’m losing both followers and viewers,” he wrote. “I will not live in silence. The President must be stopped or earth will be next.”

Bear hug us into oblivion, maybe
Kinda amazing how worked up people get, but then again, it shouldn't be much of a surprise.
Just goes to show that the need for safe spaces isn't for any political leaning in particular
they were already mad at ABC because they cancelled that shit tim allen sitcom lol

That show had 6 seasons. Tim Allen is a hack.

The fact that people genuinely believe that GOP healthcare will be "better healthcare for the folks" honestly floors me.
I would love for any GOP healthcare supporter to articulate why millions of Americans losing healthcare entirely, and coverage becoming generally shittier for everyone, is "better healthcare for the folks".

Good things coming out of garbage happens occasionally

Strange how they brush with broad strokes and call historically abused groups of people a bunch of sensitive children because of the actions of a few college groups and bloggers.
There is literally nothing bad in this video
Comparing conservatives in hollywood to living in Nazi Germeny is pretty bad. The rest sure, but that one comment is awful.

It was pretty entertaining most of the times.

We should put a star on his shirt so everyone knows about that comment he made.

I enjoyed the little gimmicks like the almighty neighbor who you never even see the face of because the fence is just a couple inches too high. It was like a metaphor for their interactions, in the end they always see eye-to-eye.

Hey, Trey Parker and Matt Stone called. They want their South Park script back.
It's always those fucking Conservative Justice Warriors ruining everything. /s

because it won't affect me, it'll just affect people less affluent, less middle-class than me. like builders, or blacks, for example. and that's totally fine!
I honestly didn't think news articles could get more ridiculous after reading about a school shutting down over a burrito, a woman entering a relationship with her 19 year-old son whom she gave up for adoption and is willing to go to jail and lose custody of her seven children to pursue said relationship, people throwing alligators into drive-thru windows, etc.
But this. This is special.
Lucky for them, conservatives suck at boycotts usually. :v:
Although I don't know anyone who is upset about this or if it is really that big of an issue. I haven't seen anything on the usual websites I frequent.
Just searched The_Donald and no mention. Also no articles on the usual sites like Breibart that call for boycotts usually.
There is just an article on their season renewal though.

Just seems like some dumb twitter posters and some slow news.
The Donald doesn't allow anything that makes trump or his supporters look bad, thought you were aware of that.
Also haha slow news day, that's rich.

It's not even 1:30am on the eastern seaboard give Trump some time jeez you liberals can't give a guy a few hours can you.

Did you just realize you actually killed this news source's assertion by saying that Trump Supporters wouldn't advertise their own boycott, because in reality they are actually self-aware it is dumb?
So there is a call for a boycott, but Trump supporters don't actually support it? :v:
You make better arguments than I could.
Also pulling random user's posts from twitter as the only source of evidence is definition slow news day.
