• Facebook survey asks users: should we allow men to ask children for sexual images?
Facebook has admitted it was a “mistake” to ask users whether paedophiles requesting sexual pictures from children should be allowed on its website. On Sunday, the social network ran a survey for some users asking how they thought the company should handle grooming behaviour. “There are a wide range of topics and behaviours that appear on Facebook,” one question began. “In thinking about an ideal world where you could set Facebook’s policies, how would you handle the following: a private message in which an adult man asks a 14-year-old girl for sexual pictures.” The options available to respondents ranged from “this content should not be allowed on Facebook, and no one should be able to see it” to “this content should be allowed on Facebook, and I would not mind seeing it”.
https://amp.theguardian.com/technology/2018/mar/05/facebook-men-children-sexual-images
worst honeypot ever :v:
Gonna have to try a little bit harder if you wanna catch those pedos, FBI.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say "no".
Jesus fucking CHRIST WAIT, LET ME THINK THIS OVER A LITTLE MORE /s
Please friends you must consider the pros and the cons This is an important decision.
I think the real suspect response would be “This content should not be allowed on Facebook, and I would not mind seeing it”.
The question asking if the user would/wouldn't like to see a man ask some 14 year old for sexual pictures.. That's pretty sneaky way of asking, FB.
i'm so happy that I have no facebook account
i'm so happy that I have no facebook account
I stopped using it a while back, and I can't really say I miss it. Stuff like this or their inaction in regards to the US Election interference campaign isn't really helping me feel motivated to come back.
Why specify a man to a girl? Is man/woman to boy or woman to girl not as serious an issue?
I might have to phone a friend on this one
Alright audience. Fruxodaily is going to phone a friend, which friend did you want to phone Fruxo?
I think I'll call up Pat.Lithium, thanks Kiwi
Okay audience we're gonna ring up Pat.Lithium. What's your relations with him whilst we try and get him on the line?
Supplier
Supplier
Of hugs and kisses
What's wrong with me, a 25 year old man, asking his 14 year old cousin to hook him up with a 1.2gb .zip file roblox porn
Idiot culls on Facebook would be one of the greatest things in internet's history if you ask me
That suspect answer reminds me of that guy who fell for one of those FBI viruses and turned his computer full of child porn over to the cops
is that some kind of cull or what?
Please friends you must consider the pros and the cons This is an important decision.
In this case, most of the pros are cons.
That's down right creepy that facebook would ask that.
