He also has to be hard pressed to actually condemn these groups and has always reaped support from them. Also, some of his staff have connections to white supremacist groups. There's been two types of those people: 1) The vocal ones. They're the people who were running around in public with swastika flags, Confederate flags, shouting "Sieg Heil!" and other slogans, attacking people, etc. [i]way[/i] before Trump became president and brought in his aggressive behavior and talk against religious, ethnic, etc. minorities in the United States (Muslims, Hispanics, LGBT community members, and so on). They let everybody know who they were and what they stood for from the beginning, and they weren't ashamed of it. 2) The quiet ones. These people supported or sympathized with the vocal ones before Trump became president but were smart enough to know better than to be public about it because they knew it would lead to social ostracism for them. Privately though, they shared the some or all of the same prejudices and the same general mindset as the vocal ones. Since Trump has become president, we've seen the vocal ones become even more vocal (David Duke, Richard Spencer, etc.); at the same time, a lot of the quiet ones have finally found the courage to join the vocal ones. Basically, the cause is actually Trump. He's given them and their views legitimacy, and they feel now's a good time to finally come out of the woodwork.

Absolutely horrible and in bad taste. But yet there are still FP posters and/or real life people defending nazis and advocating for them to have a platform and us to listen to what they have to say. But the moment you question their beliefs, fight for your own rights and freedoms, you're a subhuman and worthy of death. I think people forget that the nazis did a hell of a lot more than kill millions of jews.
