To get Assassins Creed 4 just open Uplay and you'll find a big banner on the top of the news section.
While I don't think Company of Heroes 2 was as good as the first one, it's still a great RTS in its own right. If you like RTSes in any capacity I HIGHLY recommend you grab it.
Highly recommend black flag btw.
The link for CoH is directing me back to the homepage? Is it gone already?

No, it's still free. At least I could still get it.
Here's a link to add Black Flag to your account if you can't open uplay at the moment

As a big fan of the Assassins Creed series, AC4 is probably my favorite since I enjoyed it a lot but that could also be for the fact that i was something different for a change instead of another city to just climb in.

"company of heroes 2 not available to purchase in your country"

It does lack alot of things that the 1st one did, but there are some mods that make it alot better. I personally prefer either the all units mod, or the spearhead mod, which gives a lot of variety to the things each unit can do.
I actually got into COH because of a good facepuncher friend. I don't even know if he comes around here anymore, miss him like all hell.
Uh...

Homefront doesn't appear as free to me. It's on sale though, $5.49 CAD. Is this free offer only for another region?

no. it was free yesterday. no idea why it got reverted.
I recommend Rogue for anyone who finishes Black Flag and wants more of the same.
If we're adding free games to the list, here's another one..
Hitman and its First Episode is also going for Free till January 5th for those who don't have it yet.

Drunken Sailor, a classic Walk-Along Halyard shanty (which means that you'd walk the halyard down, instead of doing a bunch of pulls on it).
my favorite of those is probably Roll the Old Chariot.

in rogue they have a version of my favorites as well, Paddy Lay Back. Used for walking around the Capstan. Honetly rogue has some of my favorite chanteys and sea songs (Jolly Roving Tar <3) compared to ac4,

I took a Chantey class this semester, did lots of singing, gave a little concert. It was a lot of fun.
Homefront is so bad I didn't add it to my library even though it's free.

I'm way more into this than I should be.

Like that whole crowd is immediately behind the song and is harmonizing and deviating and it just sorta happened and that's just awesome to me.
Played a little of Homefront. Jesus Christ just let Best Korea win.
The Company of Heroes 2 Complete Edition is also on sale for $10 on Humble Bundle (usually $40), well worth it if you like the game.
I'm sorry to say homefront isn't even good for a laff
It plays and looks worse than Duty Calls

Honestly wouldn't get it even for free. You would have to pay me to play door stacking simulator

The servers were shut off like a year after release but I think there is a workaround.

It's filled with MTX though, be warned. It's hardly "free".

The base game factions and commanders are perfectly fine though.
Sure there's a bunch of dlc factions and commanders but it's not like you're completely fucked without them.
