Looks edgy. Should be interesting, I look forward to it. Though the trailer doesn't really give me all that much hype if I'm honest.
oh hey Winona Ryder. Haven't seen her in a long time. But yeah what Nanamil said, got some Super 8 vibes out of it.
Is this a movie or will it be a new series?
[editline]10th June 2016[/editline]
Just kidding, "all episodes available..".
doubt it'll be as good as the do-over
What's this series got to do with yet another shitty adam sandler film?

Tuned out right after the title reveal, thought it was a film as well.
As to what it has in common... it looks like shit.
"You said 99 times out of 100. What about the one?" Oooooh, I bet that writer's room was so fucking happy with themselves coming up with that one. All this trailer has done is give me the feeling that the show will be everything that was bad about Super 8 stretched out into ten hours.
Binge watched it last night. It was pretty good, actually.
It's put together beautifully and should be watched.

It looks like Dark Souls meets Bioshock!
That kid with the teeth problem is rad
Absolutely amazing show, Netflix has been killing it with these original productions.
One of the few shows I've wanted to and been able to binge watch for some time, it's great.
Super interested to see what they do next season.
just saw the first epsiode loved it
Finished this two days ago, totally awesome, worth watching.
Having some Super 8 vibes.
I don't know what it is but I hated Super 8 with a passion but I absolutely love this show. I binged it until 5am last night cause I couldn't sleep.
and to be clear, yes, it's because of the no-face that I couldn't sleep
Although the plot itself feels familiar and not very original, it's well made and acted so I'd recommend it.
a+ show! watch it if u can!!!
Very good show, should have started watching it earlier honestly. Only got a few episodes left to go until I'm done.
Seriously good show, the soundtrack and retro 80's style is fantastic and all the actors are amazing especially the kids
Great show, probably one of the best Netflix originals.
Just finished today. Loved every minute of it. Fantastic show.
I personally hope that they continue on with a totally different scenario next season. "Stranger Things" is a really ambiguous title and I can see it working as different stories each season. I think that would be super cool. End every season finale with this:
"Stranger Things have yet to come..."
(And that kickass Synthwave theme song playing in the background).
What the fuck. I just finished it last night and I thought there were going to be 10 episodes, not 8. Not sure if this deserves spoiler tags but I will just in case. [sp]The ending caught me so off guard that it really annoyed the hell out of me. Especially since the first 5 or 6 episodes were paced so slowly for tension and mystery, it made the ending feel really rushed. It felt so out of place after most of the season was so perfect that in the final episode, everything important seems to happen at the same time and wrap itself up in the span of like 20 minutes.[/sp]

They've said that they plan to have the second season, if they get one, take place in the same town, a year later. There's a lot of stuff left unexplained, or that they could still explain better, and apparently there's more weird shit going on in Hawkins than what we've seen.

Dude it was fantastic. Like I was hooked, ended up watching the whole thing in one sitting.
It's a very good show but it's one its way towards becoming the most overrated show of the year. People are acting like its some masterpiece of television. It's well acted, pretty well-written, and well directed, but it's not original at all and no part of it is particularly exceptional (except maybe the soundtrack).
I'd give it like an 8, one of the best Netflix originals

People are entitled to their opinions. Especially when most shows are weak as fuck even if they are "original".

A TV show this mature with children as the main characters and they aren't insufferable. That seems pretty original to me, maybe I just haven't seen enough TV shows.
