Hello, yesterday I decided to dust off the old Age of Empires 2 CD and give it a go, I can start it but if I skip any video or start playing it locks the whole computer, it even stops recognizing my mouse and keyboard so I have to do a hard reboot, I have tried running it as administrator and XP Service pack 2 compability but it still wont work, any tips on getting it to run?
Try windows 2000 compatability.
Kill explorer.exe before you launch it.
Tried that W2000 thingy, still freezes when I skip a video :/
