It's just the guys from Bridge Constructor using the Portal license, why get mad at Valve. Likely all Valve did was say "ok"

Time for portal fans to make 500 thousand purchases as a joke and then buy all of the five sequels as a joke and have the game jokefully become the most successful bridge constructor game of all time and dethrone Bad Rats.
Do newer Bridge Constructor games work same way as the [URL="http://store.steampowered.com/app/250460/Bridge_Constructor/"]original[/URL] one where physics are Bad Rats level and every time you play same bridge the outcome is different somehow?

But it's nowhere near that level, Bad Rats is a masterpiece creation of a genius that is [I]incomparable [/I]to this game, don't you even dare compare them!
but being honest I haven't actually heard bad things about Bridge Constructor games. I know there are some really bad bridge-constructing games, but would they give Portal license to one of these?

They are the publisher of the game, I worked with them in the past.

Like I said in the other thread the outrage about this is moronic. This developer was never going to be making a mainline sequel to Valve's games because they aren't Valve. It's just a cute twist on the bridge builder genre.

In my opinion I'm not expressing per se outrage or disappointment, because obviously Valve didn't [i]make[/i] the game. Portal and Half-Life are such key franchises to Valve that seeing them strewn about in a random mobile game just feels really, really... bad. Something Portal-related comes out you expect it to be something cool and it's just... Bridge Building.
That, and from the developers standpoint I just ask why thought this was a good idea? Did they not foresee that this would be received negatively?

What's wrong with bridge building? They're fun physics games and the portals make a neat twist
