College is about 17 minutes south of Seattle in Des Moines, Wash. It has about 17,000 students and was founded in 1961 as the first community college in King County.

Hopefully it's a false alarm and nobody gets hurt.

False alarm, thank god.
-snip-
Everyone is on edge.
Good that it didn't happen.
Lots of students calling them in. Sevenish schools in Texas received calls yesterday including the high school my brother goes to. Guess they figure they can maybe get out of school, but so far they just get into a squad car.
Wouldn't have been too surprised if another one did actually happen, all the media coverage is top material to animate people who are on the edge and iirc it has in the past.
A couple of scares here in CT. One from a kidnwearing a COD sweatshirt, and another from a kid saying he “could buy an AR-15”. Except in CT you can’t. However, at least in that case I’m glad it was taken seriously.
whew, thank god
that college is very close to me
