That was the same guy who's producer - I think it was - died from a gunshot. They still haven't found out who killed him.

I completely forgot about that. It'd be something if this was somehow linked to that. I have a hard time believing someone would have drugs shipped to their freaking PO box. But then again, we don't know everything yet.

Doesn't sound like they have any evidence that he was the one who actually ordered any drugs and just arrested him purely for having it sent to his box. Since he's a popular YouTuber, his PO box info is probably easy to get for fanmail reasons. Somebody might be trying to frame him.

Huh, i'm surprised he got caught. Getting drugs in the mail is usually bulletproof. Although i guess the government has more reason to pay attention to a dude who's probably ordering in various weapons all the time.

Buying drugs through the mail isn't really all that uncommon, it's how a large portion of the dark-web drug market works.

I wouldn't necessarily think this means he's guilty of ordering drugs or anything. It's just a PO box, anyone could have had something sent to it if they knew its address. And some quick googling shows that he once did have a publicly listed PO box for fans to send stuff to, that PO box might still be active and owned by him.

I think the logic is, if it's a PO box you had to have given the number to them, but if it's a house/apartment address then anyone could have just sent drugs to any address, also someone's address is much easier to obtain.

I've heard it get passed around in drug circles and it's a straight up stupid myth.

I don't know about his case, but I have a drug-loving friend who knows all about it. It might be the same case for him.

The guy I'm ordering my drug from buys it straight on the darknet and gets it delivered to his personal address. The thing is that anybody in the world can send you a package with any sort of content. Only if you actually take the package, you are accountable for the content. I might be mistaken though.
But from his experience it's super safe, better than buying it from some street dealers.

Bulletproof, no, but definitely a lot safer and reliable than buying from a local dude. The postal services / police don't have the time to filter out thousands of envelopes every single day to find drugs, it's unreasonable to expect that anyone has the resources for such a time consuming task. And if you're really unlucky / dumb (ordering abroad from a popular country like the Netherlands), you can just deny, deny and deny. There's no proof that you made that order if you've done it right. Darknet markets wouldn't be such a big issue in the eyes of law enforcement if they were able to intercept most of the packages sent.

He has no PObox listed anywhere for fans to send him fanmail, and he's been out of the internet limelight since his producer was found to be executed. The only thing he has going for him now is a podcast but I'm not about to listen to his drivel to see if he listed a PObox there.

It cold be the type of contrabrand that is quite smelly, perhaps his plug didn't vacuum seal his pound of weed properly.
