The Raiders received 31 of 32 votes to approve the move. Only 24 votes were needed. "I have mixed feelings; it's very bittersweet," Raiders owner Mark Davis told ESPN.com after the announcement was made Monday. "I understand [Oakland fans] will be angry and disappointed. I want them to know that I do understand that it's emotional. Raider Nation is the greatest fan base in the world and we're going to build something to make them proud. "But I also want them to give as much support to the team as possible as we attempt to bring a championship to the Bay Area." The Miami Dolphins were the only team to vote against the move. The Raiders will still play in Oakland in 2017, and possibly longer. With the Raiders' proposed 65,000-seat domed stadium -- which will be shared with UNLV -- not expected to open until 2020, Davis told ESPN he plans on staying in Oakland the next two seasons. The team holds a pair of one-year options at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
ESPN

MetLife and Paul Brown stadium are some of them.

You can make a football field with syntehtic turf. You need real ice to make a hockey rink though.
I wonder if Oakland fans are on board with this, they don't seem like the type that would let go of their sports team, no matter how bad they might be. Unless Vegas has a complete water conservation overhaul I would rather see the place become a ghost city rather than continue on its current course. Grass lawns need to either be replaced with turf or extremely low maintanence and low water usage gardens. Golf courses need to close down entirely since it's just a massive waste of water. Don't get me started on the water features on the strip, those need to go too. Lastly, the entirety of the city needs to make the switch to low flow toilets, faucets, and showers. If you're gonna live in a desert, you have to give up your high water usage luxuries. Their water usage also pales in comparison to golf courses anyway.
