In five minutes, the broadcaster put out another message on the website correcting itself and said no government warning, called “J-alert”, had been issued. “This happened because equipment to send a news flash onto the Internet had been incorrectly operated. We are deeply sorry,” an NHK announcer said on its 9:00 p.m. news program, bowing deeply in apology.
:tinfoil:
Alright what the hell.
What if there really are missiles being launched and the US is shooting them down/covering them up?
I really hope this doesn't develop into a "shepard cried wolf" situation if actual launches ever happen.
I really hope this doesn't develop into a "shepard cried wolf" situation if actual launches ever happen.
It fucking will, if this keeps up. The Cold War was seemingly ages ago and already hilariously unprepared for an actual strike.
I really hope this doesn't develop into a "shepard cried wolf" situation if actual launches ever happen.
What if this was all a huge plot to lower our trust in these systems by other countries infiltrating with these supposedly incompetent people so when an actual strike is about to hit, nobody will believe it and millions of people die? :tinfoil: Real talk, this all is probably just a bad coincidence in timing.
What if there really are missiles being launched and the US is shooting them down/covering them up?
Seems as likely as Bush doing 9/11, depends on who you ask
I do not know how these systems work, but could this possibly be the result of cyber warfare?
I do not know how these systems work, but could this possibly be the result of cyber warfare?
No. The Hawaii one was literally a man pressing the wrong button. This one says the operator made a mistake too. It's just human error.
Or maybe this is just being reported because we had a similar issue in the US? I doubt this would be as big of a headline if it hadn't happened.
I bet they are testing how people will react to a nuke attack... :tinfoil:
This is either the universe foreshadowing or someone really refused to learn a lesson from what happened to Hawaii.
Difference is that Japan already had a (few) missile(s) flying over and hence real alerts that were sent out.
I bet they are testing how people will react to a nuke attack... :tinfoil:
In Japan's case, I guess they already know.
What if there really are missiles being launched and the US is shooting them down/covering them up?
You honestly think Trump would pass up the opportunity to gloat over shooting down one of "Rocket Man's" missiles?
You honestly think Trump would pass up the opportunity to gloat over shooting down one of "Rocket Man's" missiles?
I imagine he might shut up about it if Mattis put him in his place.
Trump is a puppet. He says and does what he's told. So if someone tells him to keep his trap shut, you think the CIA or FBI would have a hard time keeping him off his twitter?
Probably just the media eye's putting a focus on mistaken missile alerts.
What if there really are missiles being launched and the US is shooting them down/covering them up?
Not a single country in the world would keep a lid on that, or cover it up. [editline]17th January 2018[/editline] Not only that, but a first strike would never be just one or two missiles.
All a ploy to cover Clinton's email escapades in Hawaii.
