Interesting, I kinda dismissed this as an urban legend when my 17 y/o cousin told me about it. He said a guy he knows punched a random stranger on the street because this game challenged him to, he got beat up in retaliation.

I can see this working on vulnerable kids who are already depressed or lonely. I imagine the curators while asking you to do all these tasks act like your friend, someone you want to impress. I was an extremely depressed young teen and it's scary but I can see why kids are falling victim to this, something about your brain chemistry at that age makes you super vulnerable and combined with a desire to fit in and impress your peers. whoever made this is awful
