John Wick 3 Director, Filming Start Date & Returning Cast Revealed - Sensationalist Headlines

The series is perfect for a spinoff exploring a world of high-class assassins and in an era of film where shared universes are gold, it’s ideal for building a shared universe onscreen, all the more reason any sign of John Wick 3 moving forward is an excellent piece of news. According to That Hashtag Show the film is moving forward with a director, start date, and returning cast members. Chad Stahelski, who co-directed the first film before tackling John Wick 2 on his own, will be staying the course and guiding John Wick 3. That Hashtag Show also reported principle photography is beginning March 1st in New York City, with additional filming locations possibly in Spain and Russia. Given how the last film ended with [sp]Wick declaring the assassin underworld should come for him as he walked off into New York City[/sp], it looks like John Wick 3 might pick up right where the previous installment left off. That’s further confirmed with the news Laurence Fishburne will be returning as the Bowery King and joined by Common’s Cassian and Ruby Rose’s Ares from the previous films. There will also be multiple new faces with the film’s antagonist being played by Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine, Avengers 4). Sanada will be playing the head of a Japanese crime syndicate, presumably with a score to settle against Reeves’s Wick. Wick 2 kinda felt forced for me :< the first was fuckin fantastic, I just feel they should have focused on a different main character because the motivation behind wick in the first couldn't really be hit again for reeves character. Am still gonna watch wick 3 when it's released though.

Aww fuck yes! I loved John Wick 1 and 2, I'm absolutely hyped for the 3rd movie. Also find the idea of a TV series to be interesting. I feel like they've done a good job building this world of assassins and it would be nice to have a more in depth look at it.

That was enough to build on for the second movie. Plus the second movie was as good, if not better, than the first. I'm all for another movie especially after the second one's cliff hanger.

John Fucking Wick 3! I'm hyped as fuck now! The second one's fight scenes were phenomenal and the energy was soaring! If anyone else did these movies it would not be as good as the films are now. I look foward to the Sanada perhaps playing the villain. He was a good actor next to Hugh Jackman in [I]The Wolverine,[/I] and that film was mediocre. Also, [sp]Ares is coming back?
