A Pennsylvania teacher died after she laughed so hard she fell off a balcony while vacationing in Mexico, according to relatives.
Sharon Regoli Ciferno, of Lower Burell, died Monday of injuries suffered from the fall two weeks ago during a brief mother-daughter trip, according to PennLive. She was 50.
Her brother, David Regoli, said that she was sitting on a roof-top deck at a friend’s home when she lost balance. He insisted that alcohol did not play a role in the accident.
“She was sitting on the bench when she started laughing very hard and when she put her head back she lost her balance and fell back,” he told PennLive.
Ciferno sustained injuries to her body and brain from the fall. She was transported back to the U.S. to the University of California San Diego Medical Center, where she underwent multiple procedures.
The 50-year-old mom was a sixth grade social studies at Huston Middle School. School officials said counselors will be made available to students.
Danish dude called Ole Bentzen went into cardiac arrest from sheer laughter while watching A Fish Called Wanda. Very funny movie mind you.

I tried to translate this and Google Translate simply said "FATAL ERROR".
Google just saved my life.*
*I know the "translation" used in the skit was meant to be gibberish but I thought I'd try for shits and giggles anyway

Or a heart condition, the excitement could do something that could cause a heart attack/heart failure

My friend's grandfather died from laughter because he was laughing so hard that a blood clot in one of his veins detached and went straight to his heart.
I expected a heart attack or some other similar body failure. I don't get why you'd position yourself with your back against an open deadly drop but people have done more stupid shit.
Reminds me of a childhood memory of my sister laughing so hard at a dumb dad's joke she literally froze stiff for a few minutes and we legit thought she wasn't gonna make it.

When I laugh really hard and can't stop, when I do finally stop I'm wheezing and I have a hard time breathing. So I could see it happening.
