BEIJING - A visitor at the Badaling Wildlife Park, where tigers fatally attacked a woman last year, was bitten by a bear when he rolled down his car window to feed the animal. The incident last Friday (Aug 18) prompted the local authorities to order the park - which allows visitors to drive through with their own vehicles - to limit the number of cars, increase park surveillance and improve visitor safety awareness. Local media reports said the man, surnamed Chen, had ignored park warnings and rolled down his car window to throw snacks at the bear.
http://www.straitstimes.com/asia/east-asia/bear-bites-man-at-china-wildlife-park-where-tigers-mauled-woman-to-death Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
Rules doesn't exist without its proper reason. This guy is pretty lucky that he only suffered minor injuries.
They aren't pets you idiot they're wild animals so treat them like one.
Oh my. Better keep an eye on the lions now, too.
Having rules are pointless if they're not enforced. The park should take precautions with this somehow. Maybe have park orchestrated tours in specialized vehicles instead of hoping people don't become stupid.
Ahh, someone who didnt listen to ol Theee Dog. Don't feed the yao guai! Damn lucky its only a bite and not a case of 'Bear rips car door open and mauls dumbass driver inside'. Stupid is as stupid does.
Allowing stupid people to be stupid is no excuse for not taking proactive caution.
The sign saying 'These are wild animals and coukd attack at any time for any reason so roll your windows up and keep them up' is more than enough proactive caution for me.
Yeah, you're being cold and callous and then some.
Mm, maybe so. I have always had incredible difficulty sympathizing with people that play stupid games and win stupid prizes. Probably always will. Its just how I am wired, I dont feel sorry for someone that gets bit by a bear because they tossed snacks at it, or someone who sticks their dick into a light socket, or tries to cut a tree down with one hand. Their family? Sure. The first responders? Yup. Those groups didnt do anything dumb and have to clean up the mess/deal with the grief, trauma, debt. But the dumbass itself? Fresh out. I've also always had major difficulty with sympathizing with people I dont know in general.

Instead they should seek to enforce those rules by, for instance, threatening people with a fine if CCTV shows they rolled down their window.
chinese new money is hilarious i can't imagine that the staff treat the animals that great either

I don't want any animals to be needlessly executed for these situations
