I think it's Alliance of Valiant Arms (A.V.A.)
I started the install at 10:30pm... It's 1:19am. I gotta get some sleep.
Not sure, but I remember back in the day when I'd buy a brand new game for my crappy computer it would take hours to install (only to find out it wouldn't run on my PC with some error message)
In my mind, a thread like this should be in Fast Threads even though it is game oriented. I don't want the GGD getting flooded with content lacking threads.
Dawn of War 2
Half Life 2 took me awhile to install as I had to throw in my 5cds, then register on steam and finding out my internet was dead so I couldn't patch or play it. Also steam just didn't like me much back then anyway. Bitch would just flip the bird and be like, "Sorry kid, no games for you today - run outside tubby I've got other shit to do"
Half Life 2
Medieval II: Total War, including patch 1.2 (that patch, once completed, requires a system reboot as well).
World if Warcraft for sure, what with it's 15 gb size and around 7 CDs for all the expansions
Unreal Tournament 2004, because It was when I had a terrible PC. It took 5 hours, and didn't work when it was done. :frown:
Probably Morrowind, Oblivion or Fallout 3.
They don't take that much time to install initially but once you get all dlc/expansions, and grow accustomed to a couple of hundred little modifications they can be a bitch to get to play.
Fallout 3.
Grand the auto 4. I'm installing as we speak.
15.7 gigabytes.
I installed games bigger than this and they installed in minutes.
Red faction guerilla
X-plane with all the regions
more than 50 gigs
Probably C&C: Red Alert 2

This.
If you don't have the DVDs of Classic/BC and instead have the multiple CD sets, along with 5mbit internet or faster, it's literally faster to download the whole thing.
Fallout 3 and World of Warcraft.
Crysis, when you get the patches from the website and install... UGH
GTA IV. After putting the CD in my computer, I had to wade through all the DRM and GFWL bullshit, as well as having to update Windows XP to SP3, only to discover that my computer wasn't powerful enough to run it. Me being the impulsive twat that I was (and still am), I didn't bother checking the system requirements, so I had to update my drivers online. After finally installing it, I played the game all the way to the very end, albeit at snail's pace with an FPS of no more than 5-10.
Was it worth it? Meh.
Gears of war PC. Damnit. took forever.
GTA4 or Arma 2.
mostly GTA4
Fallout 3.
World of Warcraft.
GTA4. Shitty optimization at best, fucking DRM.
Moderators I've noticed are closing Post Your threads in here. Good for them.
And Age of Conan.
Morrowind and Oblivion if you also count installing mods.
takes ages.
Gta 4
The Sims 2 + expansions, if expansions don't count then just The Sims 2 (4 discs for the basic game
ME2 took a bit as well.
GTA IV most likely.
Age of fucking Conan.
