Help with "failed to contact key server" error

So, I bought Flatout ultimate carnage from steam, but when I try to play it, it flashes a little window for like, half a second, and then gives me an error saying "failed to contact key server". I can't play my game until I get my CD key, and its been happening since I bought it yesterday. any help?

I have the same problem. They've run out of keys. You'll get your key by tomorrow or the day after
