Minecraft Poll: Who uses the Launcher vs. Applet?

A quick question for all you minecrafters: Do you use the [b]Launcher[/b], the downloaded program you get from the downloads page, or the [b]Applet[/b], which you find and run directly on the site more often?

I've always had problems with Java in the developer's version of Chrome, so I use the launcher. Plus, I can run it from the command prompt and resize as needed, as well as play offline. Which do you prefer?

I use the launcher, because the applet is a little more laggy.

I don't see any advantages to running the applet. It's limited to your browser.

I use the Launcher because I require the Framerate boost it offers.
Or maybe it's the other way around, with your browser limiting your frames?
