• [Chrome Extension] Inspire Gallery New Tab

Thought folks here might be interested in a chrome extension I've been working on recently. Inspire Gallery New Tab grabs art from around the web (Behance and ArtStation atm) and shows you new and inspiring work in every new tab. You can also customise search terms and the way images are displayed so it shows you exactly what you're interested in for your current project. I tried to keep it nice and clean to let the art speak for itself. I found a similar extension (since discontinued) immensely useful when i was doing graphic design work so hopefully someone finds this some help too :) It's still in Beta so any bug reports/reviews are immensely appreciated. I love this extension! Really makes my new tabs useful and fun. I'd recommend some type of memory though, or maybe change the set of loaded images every minute rather than every time I make a new tab, so if something caught my eye just as I was leaving the tab, I could go back and view that piece instead of losing it. I dunno if this is possible either, but maybe also make it so that when you click on something, it shows a full screen preview of the photo rather than bringing you directly to the page, and clicking it again will bring you to the source. that way, any misclicks won't immediately make another tab if you don't want to. also, not something i'd personally use, but a mature content filter might be useful since who knows who might be looking over your shoulder as you open up a tab. overall though, this is a super sleek plugin and i love how simple yet intuitive it is.
I like the idea of this, could you port it to Firefox?
I like it, but sadly I keep getting memes coming up and can't really seem to get just a plane old tab page full of nice building designs.
Looks great, going to give it a go :)
overall though, this is a super sleek plugin and i love how simple yet intuitive it is.
Thanks! All very good suggestions, will add them to my backlog. The lack of 'memory' and revisting retaining the same order seems to be a common complaint so I'll get right on that. Could you send me a pic of your settings panel? That's very bizarre, especially coming from Behance/ArtStation, i was hoping those sources would avoid that.
