Deadpool director Tim Miller is developing a Kitty Pryde movie - Sensationalist Headlines

phasing through things is such a cool power, and i'd love to see more of it on-screen. there's just so many clever things you can do with it. does she have any solo stories already out there, though? or will they have to come up with their own, while adapting elements from her x-men adventures?

Storm? Nightcrawler? They could work. You could probably do one based around Marrow with the Morlocks. X-23 as well. Kitty Pryde? Ehhhhhh. She can work well with other characters but as a thing based solely around her i dont know.

I like Kitty Pryde and all, but I'm also not sure what a solo movie would be about. Sure, bring in Lockheed, but then what? Biggest comic storyline I can think of that heavily features her would be Days of Future past where she's the time traveller, but that's obviously out. Maybe some part of Excalibur with Pete Wisdom as a secondary character and without pretty much everyone else?

She can work well with other characters but as a thing based solely around her i dont know.[/QUOTE] i know it's weird to look at the kind of roster x-men has, and pick kitty pride when you have so many more obvious choices, but in the end, the character ends up being what the writers/actors/directors/producers make them storm is pretty dope in general, but we've seen how easily they can make her shockingly bad. or how bad gambit gets if you don't play your cards right. i do hope this kitty project doesn't fall through

Deadpool was already prepared having a wrecked heli carrier and all, and people have always talked about how easy it'd be given the 4th wall. He already mentions studios in a gag.

wasn't kitty pryde the one that had something ridiculous like a pet dragon for awhile? throw that in and I'd be interested lol, but otherwise ehhhh i'm not really seeing the appeal. i mean I also don't really get making a movie about Gambit who's that's just a dude that throws cards around, but if it's still starring Channing Tatum and ever exits development hell I'll still watch it lol

It's a cool power with a lot of flexibility, if they can write a decent story around it then I can see it working.
