Based on the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, the series would be a multi-cam sitcom set 100 years in the future that follows the exploits of the Jetson family. Robert Zemeckis will executive produce along with Jack Rapke via their Compari Entertainment banner. Gary Janetti, who has written for and produced shows like “Family Guy” and “Will & Grace,” will write and executive produce. Compari’s Jackie Levine will serve as a co-executive producer. Warner Bros. Television will produce in association with Nickelby Inc. and Compari.
why
...You really gotta wonder what type of person it takes in this year of 2017 to think, "You know what would be hot shit? A live action Jetsons sitcom!"
:why: The hell is up with all the reboot shit lately?
We haven't reached rock bottom yet, we can go deeper.
We haven't reached rock bottom yet, we can go deeper.
How about giving Fat Albert a live action series ?
god forbid you come up with a fucken new idea
How about giving Fat Albert a live action series ?
I'll get to work on a script
:why: The hell is up with all the reboot shit lately?
Nostalgia makes the $$$
Sounds like the utter trash they'd play on Nickelodeon.
what did we do to deserve this
I'd perfer the DC Comics comic even if it kinda started weirdly. At least it's pushing to an interesting premise I'm mostly certain they're just going to port the original cartoon into live action show.
god forbid you come up with a fucken new idea
Someone had the perfect idea the other day in lmao pics. A show about a sentient experimental robot that gets a super regular job, but constantly fucks up. Basically, we'd be watching a robot awkwardly grabbing something, knocking down everything trying to put it somewhere, then dropping it violently, then falling backwards and curl up into a ball. Theres a video of it there, its funny as hell.
Whatever it is, it can never top the dark and gritty Flintstones reboot.
How about giving Fat Albert a live action series ?
Too late
Will it still be set in the magnificent far-off year of 2002?
Whatever it is, it can never top the dark and gritty Flintstones reboot.
Seriously though those comics are really good. I should buy them sometime to show my support for more stuff like it. I want my gritty Quick Draw McGraw and Jabberjaw.
The only way I'd watch, it is if Danny Devito plays Mr.Spacely
We haven't reached rock bottom yet, we can go deeper.
flinstones live action reboot, then?
flinstones live action reboot, then?
They had those live action films back in the 90s with John Goodman as Fred. I kinda liked them.
We haven't reached rock bottom yet, we can go deeper.
Any deeper and we could reach bed rock.
What's next a live action remake of Seinfeld?
What's next a live action remake of Seinfeld?
Can we get Jerry as George Jetsom in this show please. I want a bright orange wig on him and everything.
Wow that WWE crossover film must have done pretty good if this is their next step.
