Naturally, the artists are enjoying their time in the limelight and the exposure that comes with it. It’s also great to see fans making the most of the art feature as it’s something Nintendo wanted (and why they included it in the first place).
Even so, there are a few others who seem to oppose the idea (as furry fan art isn’t exactly the most appreciated art form). Those against the fan art have also been stating their opinions on the game. There even seems to be some tension in the fanbase, but nothing harmful has really come out of it.[/quote]

The sexual shit is one thing, but I struggle to care too much about innocuous drawings of anthropomorphised animals in a game about anthropomorphic squids, octopuses and other such sea life.
During the public testfire, half the images in my lobby were sexualized squids. To be honest, this doesn't seem much different.

The real crime is that Splatoon 2 doesn't properly circulate drawings. I keep having the same circle of like a dozen drawings in my lobby for days, furry or not
